Seems as you get older, "toys" become more expensive. Well, maybe they are not ACTUALLY toys abut then again, to us they are.
I just dropped $487 on a Video Camera/Digital Camera in one with all the accesories. I actually needed/wanted it because I am gong to JApan in July but I mean, look how much all the "toys" are costing me now!
My Game Cube was $100, for some people, that's not alot but for me it is.
Anyway, what is your most expensive favortie thing you got?
Mine is probably my laptop I got for graduation (if it would stop crashing @_@)

I got a complete set of Season 3 Buffy trading cards when I only ordered about 4.
I went ahead and e-mailed the company and told them about the mistake and
they were cool with it.

Ha gotcha man I have EVERY single Star Wars Kenner figure from the early to late 90's that was ever put out. Even the "limited edition" or whatever Han Solo in stromtrooper gear that you could only get by sending in Kellogs cereal UPC's. Yes I even have Slave I, even the Special Edition sets they put out with Jabba, the Ronto, and such. Only things I don't have are a TIE Fighter and the super huge AT-AT.
Yeah I was obsessed back then and they're all in mint condition no sticking firecrackers up Yoda's butt for these figures.

I don't know which "toy" is my favorite out of all of them. Most of them get broken by my little siblings pretty quickly anyways. I miss the cam corder. It was broken in about two months by the kids who "weren't aloud to touch it unless there was an adult around." Of course it was broken when there was no adult around. I begged and begged for one for years. And when I finnaly got one...they make me so mad. But what can you do. In those two months we made some great movies though.

Most expesive toys? Cumulatively, the family's and my computers. The most in one go was 179 for my PS2... Which I hardly use anymore.

Nothing is more expensive than my hobby for odering DVDs only found in the United States or the United Kingdom. Have a lot of NTSC titles among my PAL DVDs. Talk about expensive toys.

I won't mention my "toys" that my folks bought me. It feels like cheating. While not exactly a "toy", my keiko-gi and hakama combined cost me exactly $102.25. For someone with no regular income.... that's a dreadfully high price.

I bought a PS2 for 150, but with the added cost of game, dance mat, memory card, it ended up being more.
Someday I want to buy Photoshop. By the time I have enough saved up for that, it'll probably be around version 10. o_O

Oh, tough question. Well, the only thing I have to buy with my own money are video games.
My family buys everything else.

Either my $1500 computer, my $500 paintball equipment, or my $1.50 80's computer book collection.

My computers. I have no income, yet I still don't know how I saved up hundreds for my computers.
Another toy would be LEGO.

My most expensive toys are definitely my bass guitar and gear.
A Geddy Lee autographed signature "Rushman" brand bass: $13,000
Two Mesa Boogie 1965 Circuit Stacks and Amps: $5,500
All my effects and stuff: $7,000 approx.
Its a lot of money, but its a profession so the money comes back eventually.
