I am told that this stuff is no new news, but it is to me... IMO, I think that demons could have very possibly done this, as they probably also do ufos and stuff (see "The Answer Book", Revised and Expanded edition).

But I dunno. What other info is avaliable on this subject? is it just a hoax?

(note: The first link has a few theological messages that are a bit... out there... like the claim of the antichrist being accompanied by UFOs, lol)

I think its natural phenomenon which people ascribe either to aliens, government cover-ups or demons. I'm sorry but all this is just "accidental". I don't believe demons have all that much power over the physical (the spiritual is something else) so its just people seeing stuff that isn't there. Coincidences and such.

I would tend to agree that it is all natural phenomena.People do tend to let their imaginations go overly wild when they see such things.
So I wouldn't take it too seriously if I were you. :)

A thousand years ago when I was young we had a game called "UFO: Enemy Unknown" (although in the US I think it was called X-COM: UFO Defense) where you had to infiltrate the Martian base on Cydonia at the end of the game and stop their attack on earth. It was a turn-based strategy game though that was a lot of fun to play. :D

X-Com is such a good game. Didn't play it till a year or two ago but ask any PC gamer back in the day what their favorite games were and that will be high on their list.

Oh and bigsleepj is right demons have very little to no real physical power in our world. At least not enough to built stuff like that.:P

I know, but they can definitly influence out minds and make us see things. I think that for a demon to create a few weird-shaped blur things in the sky for a few moments would be very possible, and a good trick against non-believers. The same may be said about Giza. Sociologist Gerald Eberlein is quoted in saying, "Research has shown that people who are not affiliated with any church, but who claim that they are religious, are particularly susceptible to the possible existence of extraterrestrials. For them, UFOlogy is a substitute religion."
And we read in 2 Thess. 2:9-11 that Satan can perform "signs and lying wonders" and Eph. 2:2 talks about the "Prince of the power of the air", so it is good to say that demons do have some power on earth to use for deception. William Alnor, cult expert and award-winning journalist, has studied the UFO phenomenon for many years. His book, UFOs in the New Age, documents his investigations that lead to the conclusion that some UFO phenomena have an occult source.

So I don't think that God would put that stuff there on Mars, considering things of late. UFOlogy is particularly interesting to those who don't know Christ and thus have no idea of what that stuff may be and thus leads many from the Truth.

But I haven't recieved any direct insight into the spiritual realm on this matter of Giza on Mars, so I can't say for sure about this case... which is why I am interested if the pics and stuff are just a hoax or not.

When you hear hoof-beats, look for horses not zebras. In other words, apply Occam's Razor to such ideas.

We know for example, that there are unusual landforms that can "look like things", especially if the angle and lighting are correct. We also know that any civilization going out and building things on this scale would have had to leave much more unambiguous traces- cities and the like which are simply not seen anywhere on the surface of Mars. Likewise, from what we know of the planet's history it would not have been able to support life for very long- it's simply to small to hold an appreciable atomsphere. It's fairly safe to conclude then that such apparent monuments are really just natural landforms that have been misinterpreted through a combination of wishful thinking and flimflammery.

One article can be found at:
http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2001/ast24may_1.htm

In addition, Carl Sagan's book "Demon Haunted World" has a few very good things to say about the subject as well as such pseudo-science in general.

Don't forget that for centuries it was thought that Mars had canals which
fed the supposition that there was life on Mars.Turned out that when
scientists in the 20th century were finally able to get a good look at the
"canals"that they were natural and not artificial.
Although it did destroy a lot of romance about the planet. :shady:

maybe God just wanted to joke with around with us XD make us all paranoid

that happened to us once... a coulple saturdays ago, i was walking 10 miles or so, and my friend joey rode his bike (he drives a car) after that joey took me and my friend charlie to a movie theatre. In the parking lot Joey said: "I hope nobody steals my bike..." (it was attached to the rear of his car) and we met with our other friend tyler. After the movie (we saw hitchhikers guide) we walked to tylers car because it was closer... and tyler drove us to the parking garage which joey's car sat... on the way we saw a car with a bike rack without a bike... and instantly joey got paranoid and we were telling him "don't worry joey haha, God's just trying to mess with your head" luckily his bike was safe and sound

so.... maybe its the same sorta instance?
