So, love bites. Feel free to elaborate as you will.

That's why I don't have any desire for things like that. I'd like a good friend over a girl friend any day.
Hope you get better.

lol, Impact... one day, I think your mind will change. Did for me.
And it sounds like someone just had a relationship crash down... *hug*

*hug* Love bites....sometimes. But when you find the right one, it no longer hurts as much ^_~ Keep on truckin' and remember it doesn't rain forever.

Angel is having problems interpreting her feelings...those who have chatted recently may know who I'm referring to. For those of us who are nosy (although it's more I just want to tell), it is someone on CAA I'm angsting over...

I'm a fan of love, myself. Unrequited romantic love, not so much. But love in general is cool, because there's so many different kinds of love. You should rethink your stance about love biting.
I'm sorry about whatever happened that's making you think this way. If you need to talk...feel free to drop me a PM.

:hugs her:
It's okay girl. You'll feel better. Have an Oreo.
Now wait, what am I saying? That won't help...

Don't fret over it. Look for friends before you look for "love", have faith in God - He'll bring you someone someday, and when he does you'll be glad you didn't waste your emotions over the person who wasn't "the one."

So, can anyone explain the title of this thread?

Yes, it does. However, as time goes by, it will heal up like all other wounds. Doesn't make the present any easier to deal with, but don't give up hope and KNOW it will get better. I am sorry you are going thru this, and I can sympathize. Just hang on...

Of course that'll help. At the moment, I'm just gonna wait and see what happens, and what he does. As a certain bounty hunter once said, "Whatever happens, happens."

hm...oreos. Thanks to all. I wasn't expecting so many replies, much less nice ones. I just really needed somewhere to vent. I'm aware that not all forms of love are lame.
The title of the thread has to do with those who love in a worldly sense, thus distorting its true nature.
According to Ravi Zacharias, "Love cannot be what it is meant to be until it is first wedded to the sacred."
