Ive noticed throughout the years, allergy medicine doesn't work for me, nasal sprays don't work, and so called energy drinks (bawls, red bull) don't make me hyper.... could I be immune to stuff like that or something? It's really weird cause kids are like "woah im so awake after drinking red bull/bawls etc" and im like "meh... i don't fell any difference"
and nyquil doesnt put me to sleep!
weird, cause i don't drink caffinated drinks too much... and ive tried different allergy medicines and none work or something...
weird... any idea whats with me?

have you seen your doctor about your allergies? i have allergies too and got something prescribed for my allergies. if whatever they give you doesnt work you can go back and your doctor can give you another one to try.
as for the caffine question, im not sure, but i had a friend in college who caffine would actually make him fall asleep! i didnt believe him, but whenever he drank something with caffine in it he really did fall asleep. he'd drink a soda and a half hour later he'd be asleep in the chair he was in, he couldnt even drive after drinking coffee, it was weird. once i gave him one of those energy drinks for fun and sure enough, he fell asleep.

If you drink enough of it, your body becomes immune to it. I can down like 50 of those energy drinks and it won't phase me a bit. Want somthing to keep you up? Try Jolt. I don't know anyone bad enough to be used to Jolt Cola.

MSP, you're not alone. My buddy Josh once told me that caffeine has no effect whatsoever on him.
Now as far as Red Bull and Monter drinks go, it's beyond me. The cans are way too small, and I've heard the drinks themselves taste nasty.

I have been told that for people with ADD or ADHD, caffeine actually acts as a depressant.

Yeah, it's a funny side-effect of the condition - it seems to switch the effects of stimulants and depressants. People with ADD or ADHD often find that caffiene will help mitigate the condition, so if they're not medicated, they tend to be particularly heavy consumers of caffiene.
