OH MY GOSH!!!! THis is EXACTALLY like one of the dramas we had at one of our youth group meetings....

basically it was this guy wanted to change his name to Jesus Christ... to honor God... but there are tons of other ways to worship him... ya know?

Hmm... This could end up getting him into serious trouble with certain crowds, I would think...

I think that's going a little overboard. I mean Jesús is a very common and acceptable Spanish name, but putting Christ as your last name is eh...

Kind of reminds me of some college BB player about 10-15 years ago who changed his name to "God Shamgod".

The best part is this I found in another atricle about Officer Prime.

I got a letter from a general at the Pentagon when the name change went through and he says it was great to have the employ of the commander of the Autobots in the National Guard.

I think you should go with Vin Impact.

This story is just about government red tape. If the guy had changed his name to Peter Jones, there wouldn't even be a story here.

Dull government business, perhaps, but with an amusing touch. I found it somewhat funny, and it does provide for many strange sentences.

My only problem with this, is if the guy really did it because he loves God or did he do it just to get attention. Also some people might take it as a sign of arrogance, like maybee he is trying to say he is God or something. Though I dont think that's really what he is tring to say there could be some people who might see it that way.
