Upset that no one is in the chat? Me too. I'm not always absent, you know?!? I'll be sitting there waiting for someone to join, and they'll pop in for two seconds, then pop out. 3 people just did that IN A ROW!!! I typed "HI THERE!" but they were gone before they could read it. They just assumed I was idle. *sigh* Here's how YOU can make a difference.

When you login, you have to stay logged in for a few minutes, but if you do that, you can't do anything else, right? wrong!!! Here's the solution:

1. Click the chat link.
2. Click options, and click "Bip on new text."
3. Click "Play bip as a sound file."
4. Open an new window and continue your CAA happiness.

When another person logs onto the chat, you'll hear a "BIP" and you can go back to the chat window and chat with them. If you forget to set the BIP, then you may not notice when they login and start typing.

Yeah, the chat doesn't work for me. I'm pretty sure it's my stupid comp not liking Java (I even installed the newest JRE for the last chat - still didn't work).

Edit: When I scroll over the chat box, it says "load: class Chat not found"

Doh. I just acidentally nuked the chat. Sorry about that guys!

Wow. What a great rule. it would CERTAINLY cut down on the spam in the post-yer-pic thread. Wow. I really like that rule. I bet I could code that in, too. So if you haven't at least displayed the text for the whole thread, it wouldn't let you post...

How do you use chat? I tried to use it but I couldn't find anyway to put in a message. Im new here so Im not sure if Its just my computer or maybee Im just not gettin it.

i can so understand that. i like chats, but all that shows up for me is a big grey box!!
