CephasVII's Commemoration and Knighting Thread
PostPosted: Sat Apr 09, 2005 11:49 pm
*As the members sit in their seats awaiting one of their own...they talk to one another to keep themselves busy*
*Suddenly, Symphony No. 9, 3rd movement was playing and everyone there was silent as Cephas enters the cathedral and walks down the isle. All the members including the Moderators and Administrators are there as they look back to see one of their members, who is going to leave by the end of this event walk by each and every one of them to the front*
*His sword is already placed in a rectangular stone with the cross engraved on it, placed at the front. Cephas walks down the isle wearing his black coat that looks like Vash the Stampedes back black and its thicker, also wearing his suit of armor underneath. He soon gets to the front, hangs up his coat and stands on the stage in front of the whole Alliance*
*Cephas clears his throat, puts his hands behind his back and begins to speak*
I believe you all know the reason you are here today, so I won't be needing to remind anyone.
Today I am I will tell about my experiences here in this Alliance and to show how grateful I was to be part of this large group of people numbering up to the thousands who joined.
I will begin by saying that When I first arrived here either about or over a year ago, I didn't really know what to expect, only that not much people would be wanting to talk to a NEWBIE that liked anime...but I was wrong, proof being there were posts and posts of replies to my first thread made...my welcoming thread.
Now I stand up here and I have to say that all of you have been the most loving bunch of Christians I have ever talked to, and for that, I am truly grateful. I thank everyone who has ever PMed me for problems, discussions, or for just wanting to have a chat. It's strange too, I never really noticed before how many people really enjoyed my company It was great to be able to talk to them with the result of smiling faces.
There have been times when I wondered about if the mods and admins were trying to keep us from saying what we wanted to say...but that was just me. I've actually realized then that they're just trying to keep us safe from troublesome hazards like trolls or whatever, and in the meantime being able to post like anyone else just to have fun.
So Mods and Administrators, I give you a thumbs up for your hard work I am very pleased with how you guys handle things around here.
It was lots of fun being in the Roleplays working with so many characters that we could make up and go nuts with Sometimes there would be lots of mix-ups and even tiny mix-ups *cough*"Not Normal"*cough* anyways I greatly enjoyed being beside so many interested players that loved working with their characters and I have to say to the newbies...you guys play pretty dang good for the first time! I'm proud of you all.
To all the artists, I've never seen such beautiful artwork including wallpapers, drawings, paintings and whatever you've done. They were either cute :3, sad, truthful, dark, weird, and even gory But that shows you have wonderful talent and that makes you an artist. You're probably wondering the reason I said that, "how am I an artist, that's a professional's stage!" Not true, if you have the ability, emotion, strength, and will to overcome the odds of drawing ONE SIMPLE LINE, you ARE an artist.
Same thing deals with Musicians, the topic I really enjoy ^_^ Speaking with myself in this topic, we are also artists because we also show our strength and ability whether it's to move our fingers on a piano, blow into a band instrument, pluck a string on a guitar or run a stick with horse hair across long metal strings of a violin, bass, or whatever kind of stringed instrument it is. It's also our emotions that gives the Music it's feeling, whether it be sad, happy, or just plain fun.
Surprisingly enough, writers are also the same. You're imagining your story in your mind and putting it on paper to show us what you have thought at that time of the story whether it be sadness, dispair, tragic, or happy and upbeat, silly and humerous to make us laugh to the extent of busting our guts, spiritual and deep in thought to make us think, or weird and psychological to make us scared or confused wondering "what the heck was this person thinkin'". Wonderful stories with wonderful results, given the person to be able to further their experience to being a good writer.
Now off the Goof Off topic...do I have to explain you guys are so funny and so random...I only wonder how I can stand it so much...probably because I'm as random as the next guy.
WHOO HOO!!
*ahem* anyways, I'll never forget...or at least try not to forget...the wonderful times we had with threads like the "Avatar Caption Game", "The Person Below You Game", "Signature Caption Game", "The Poking Match of all Time", "The Glomp Thread" that has actually disappeared into thin air, and all those other entertaining threads that come up out of nowhere.
I just want to take some time to reflect on some members here who have been interesting to talk and have fun with:
Ashley: The Shepherdess, the leader, the creator of this site and the one who makes the rules and whatever goes, goes. I am very happily to have been a good friend to you and I bet there have been times that I've been a pain in the posterior but you love me nonetheless and that goes the same with me to you too. Thank you. *gives you a hug and a soft kiss on the cheek*
Shatterheart: All I have to say is...your weird man O_o!! But that's what I like about ya ^_^ Cool, steady, on other's nerves sometimes and just a good person to talk to. Thanks. *shakes hands*...I'm still not forgiving you for that April Fools joke you know...j/k yes, I do forgive you for that.
ShiroiHikari: The SuperDuperNinja...Member! You keep yourself out of trouble you weird girl! ^_^ *gives you hug and soft kiss on cheek*
UC pseudonym: I've been here this long and STILL I had to find out how to spell your name...oh well...lol...lots of knowledge in you friend and a user of big words. Keep it real! Oh, and remember this?
Laughed at that one for hours!
So many members Okay...I'll mention seven other members:
Shadowblade: It's lots of fun challenging you to the arcades buddy and then talking with you about whatever afterwards. You're lots of fun and I hope to see you again in the fall ready for another challenge. I still love your Tifa avatar ^_~
Sparten1056: Dude, your Roleplaying skills are cool. You are really, one of the first people to participate to participate with my characters. I enjoy our characters conflicting with each other and fighting together. Enjoy your time on the boards and have fun at the roleplays to remember me by.
Sam*ron: Your gerbils are cute and cuddly and so is your pup and thanks for putting their pictures up. I also thank you for giving me that Birthday Greeting on my PM. You are really cool and are a great person to talk to. ^_^
Zelda27: When I'm the only one on the boards, you always there to give a conversation, and I enjoyed that, and still do. You're funny, bright, weird, and kind to me and everyone else here. I really like your different kinds of Zelda avatars.
Heart of Sword: The one who loves wolves, and who can blame ya, they're really cool. Your roleplaying skills are really awesome and your use of Suhi makes him so cute (rowr >:3 ) You're really cool Heart of Sword and don't you forget that. Remember, you started the "Avatar Caption Game" ^_^
Little T-chan: What can I say, one of the three cutest, brightest, and happiest members here, one of the two I've known by conversations through PMs. No one can compete with your level of cuteness that if anyone was in a bad mood, all we needed to do was to release you and your powerful cuteness upon the person to lift up their spirits with a big smile on their face. Thanks Little T-chan. I'll miss you.
Christiangirl: You are the one I'll miss the most. You're always there to PM me no matter what and I enjoy being your friend. You're always bright, happy, full of spirit and full of love, and for a 13 year old, you have good diction, especially when you're Roleplaying with either myself, Sparten, Heart of Sword, christianfriend, Sorasoathkeeper, T-chan, or anyone else. I've known you longer then anyone else here. Thank you, little one.
To all the other members I haven't mentioned: You are all great friends and I haven't met such fine people who have the same beliefs and interests in Jesus Christ as much as I do. I really enjoy all your company to be able to take some time and have a nice chat with all of you. You are ALL very special and I will miss each and every single one of you.
Oh, Sunako, Cephie wants to say goodbye to you and Squishy:
Cephie: ( ;-; )...(((((((((((\( *O*)/ BYE BYE!!! *runs and hugs Squishy and Master*
