I have been tormented by this question for ages! Why I don't look it up on Google...I don't know...o_0
Whenever I think to search for the answer I forget, and then when I am away from my computer I think of it again!! It's driving me nuts! Someone please, put this to an end!
I also have no idea what "w00t" means. Apparently it is an exclamation of joy or praise...but I don't have an exact definition! I need someone to help me solve the mystery of the w00t...

Wow, I actually never knew that woot was an acronym.
I just thought it was a sound people made and spelt it "woot".
I first heard it playing Counter Strike about 4 or 5 years ago.
makes sense.

yay for counter-strike (I'm an avid player) lol, and the l33t talk, confusing at times, but hey, it's allright, because it strikes ph34r in the |-|34r7 0f n00bs......
er...yea, kinda trailed off there, heh

MegaTokyo, as well as being a hilarious comic is a good way to become aquainted with the world of l33t. I owe all my l33t Kn0\/\/l3g3 to the antics and misadventures of Largo. Another good thing to note is that L33t can be regarded as spam, and thus should be used in moderation, and only when it is pertenent to the topic at hand.

I never knew what some of those meant, though from MT, you can pick up enough to figure out the context. Annoying to read when email and not in a forum though...

w00t!
Honestly I can't stand l33t. Most if not all l33t is just annoying with extra things added for no reason.
roxxors takes longer to type than r0x
p0ned, what the heck?! Like Phoned + owned.

stuff like that is really annoying.
I only like it in choice places, mostly in short phrases, and only using some l33t, not writing the whole sentince in l33t.
example: You must ph34r the 3v1l!

Well, we don't know. The
Wikipedia (wikipedia.org) article may be interesting to peruse.
R0x0r = rocks
r0xx0rz my b0xx0rz = rocks my boxes(computers)

From an administrative perspective: l33t is a form of spam, though for the sake of this discussion previous use of it will be considered helpful. Further use, however... not so. The current offered definitions of "roxxors" are more or less accurate, but the exact origin of "woot" is unclear. Kaligraphic's Wikipedia article has an accurate summary of different theories.

Wait... shouldn't that be "ph34r TEH 3v1l!"?
