International Day is at school next week.
We're gonna set up booths to sell different kinds of food and whatnot.
[stomach growls]

Need some awesome primo ideas on what to draw on the banner for our anime club.
So far, I got a pic in my head of all the icon animals from the best animes, like Tama-chan from Love Hina for example.
There's gonna be a prize for best banner. [strokes imaginery beard] :thumb:

Am so gonna enjoy this banner. (^^)

PS: We're selling California rolls... WOOHOO! :DD

I would suggest not merely doing animals s that could well reinforce the prejudice that Anime=Pokemon. Iconic animals like Tama-chan and such would be good inclusions though. My own suggestion is that you draw a banner with characters quite obviously from a wide variety of genres to illustrate the diversity of Anime. Also, this site's non-lite skin provides a good idea of how you might want to keep your backgroud colors simple but visible.

Ooh, right! Got yah. :thumb:
Was a big fan of Pokemon by the way. xD
But the continuity became so monotonous to me.
It was like the Energizer Bunny.
It just kept going...
and going...
and gooooing... [snores]

Likewise, I was pretty good at the trading card game, acquiring quite a reputation wherever I went. However, that does not mean that many others share such a mindset.

I agree with GhostontheNet that include several characters from various genres to illustrate that the anime culture is as diverse as every culture in the world. There you canplay ito the entire International Day theme.

At our school community, the students responsible for that such a pavilion (it was Japan Pavilion, but they were all fans of the cartoons, so they made mostly about it).

They bought series stickers from the mall. Then, they made little book-marks for the visitors. They took a piece of cardboard and let the visitors choose the sticker they wanted, then, on the other side they wrote the visitor's name in katakana (japanese symbol type used for foreigner words.)

And also, like you, they had lots of food. (I think that is important for International Day.) They had a television and were playing a Miyazaki movie. At the back of the pavilion, they had a whole wall full of posters and pictures of cartoons.

Good luck with your project! I hope I helped just a little bit!
