is it just me or is the whole internet breaking down like a rusty old automobile? CAA used to be the only site I really had trouble with...now that it's acting mostly stable, EVERY OTHER SITE I frequent has been crashtastic. (except Livejournal, which has actually been running smoothly for once.)

even the messenger programs have been unstable. MSN craps out just about every other day, and even AIM broke down and wouldn't let me online a few nights ago.

SheezyArt has been screwy for over a week, and now my Graffiti.net webspace is down...this is the last straw. I'm mad as heck, and this time it's personal. or uh...something like that.

is anyone else having these kinds of problems? O_@

Well I don't think the whole internet is about to come to a screeching halt. So it's probably just your ISP.:P My advice call them more than likely somethings up.

And another thing! Why is it that, the moment you get into a fandom, all known fansites go down?! It's just not fair!

well, I thought it was my ISP for about five minutes, but if it was the ISP, no sites would be working at all. besides, the other computers on this connection aren't having the same problem. it could be my computer, but I'm not sure. things like MSN and SheezyArt are problems with THEIR servers, and I know it because they've had error messages and status reports on their sites.

Highly recommended. Stuff like this happened to me before, and it turns out it was nothing more than a bunch of crappy Spyware on my hard drive..... once it was all deleted, I didn't have hardly any more trouble. On a side note, do you use FireFox? If not, I recommend getting one ASAP.

I also recommend defraging as well.

I'm having trouble with all the same sites she is...and we don't even live in the same state...XD I personally think it's a conspiracy.

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

did that, everything came out clean.

once it was all deleted, I didn't have hardly any more trouble. On a side note, do you use FireFox? If not, I recommend getting one ASAP.

I've been using Firefox for over a year now, and it is my friend.

maybe later I'll defrag...I need to anyway.

I personally think it's a conspiracy.

I've noticed that when I use CAA, my IE gets balky when I try to go elsewhere, but when I start elsewhere, it runs smooth. Of course given all the posts I do on CAA, it just might be a bunch of clutter building up in the Temp file...

Mine seems to always run full speed (3mbps) when the site I'm accessing isn't slow. Most of my problems seem site based.

Well then.... there is only one other possible conclusion.

"For every action, there is an equal or opposite reaction."

CAA is now working better than ever... so, by Newton's law..... every other site on the internet that was working fine before must now suck.

That's life for you. Can't fight physics my friend.

Aye... -_- FreeURL seems to be having problems, so the redirector to The BASIC FAQs isn't working. ;_; (But that doesn't at all mean that the site itself is down. ^_~ )

*shrugs* the dorm computers i'm using seem to be fine... but... my computer at work was insane today and had pop-ups all over the place (which shouldn't be happening from anywhere i go... *glares at other work-studies*) and i ad-awared it, it had over 800 things to quarantine on it... 0_o no wonder it had problems.

and i'm always up for the theory that the internet has a conspiracy going on behind it... it's like Murphy helped design the basic operating functions or something... XD
