:: in the voice of Jack Bauer::
The following takes place between monday 8am and wednesday at 11pm, the week of the Doctor's vacation in Texas.

Events occurred in real time.

LOL...can you tell I love 24?

Anyhow, I opened the vault of my checking account for this and boy have I spent big (well, big for me). I bought 2 rare soundtracks to Captain Tyler and Escaflowne at the anime store near here, as well as Nami Takami's album "Greeting", and part 1 of the original Detective Conan anime. I also have purchased a ton of music and very nearly bought season one of Quantum Leap. I may end up buying it anyway.

But yah...my account has gone under a major money drain this week. The mall rocks though. I love the mall here. So big, so cool....so much anime. :-)

Weather rocks as well. Man...so many upsides to Texas as a vacation spot. Except for the fact that I'm STUCK here in my gma's house and at times going out of my mind!!! GRRRR.

But never fear, for even as we speak I rented stuff to keep me entertained...among them season one of 24. :-) Oh yah...Jack Bauer should totally get the anime treatment. But keep Kiefer Sutherland as the voice though. He rocks.

Oh yah, I also enjoyed free entertainment by going to Barnes and Noble and reading volume 12 of Kenshin for FREE (didn't buy it, just read it). I love Nobuhiro Watsuki. What an author man!

What else? Hmm...saw Hitch with my sister. How many of you dudes were taking notes when Will Smith said "Basic principles on how to win a girl's heart"? LOL. I love will smith. Hitch's premise was OK in the sense that Hitch tries to get people married and not flings. Could have been better though.

Well....those are the fairly exciting adventures of The Doctor thus far in Texas.

See ya'll soon.

:-)

:: and now to end it in true 24 fashion...signal 24 typical end music::

The following events take place.....

Oh whatever.

Well, my time in Texas was nice. This time the state decided to show my allergies mercy and not get me sick, for which I'm most grateful. :-)

I'll be heading back to Ohio tomorrow, where I shall be welcomed by a loser baseball team, a ghetto of a city, and a football team that is just now turning itself around.

:: shrugs:: Oh well, I love Ohio cause of my friends there. You'll rarely if ever meet a finer bunch of guys, er men. LOL

Thanks for your comments and putting up with these puff pieces about my journey here.

Have a good one guys!
