I (same as Piloswine) am gone for a week. I am going to NY (upstate) to a camp to do general maintence, carpentry, and kitchen stuff. This is a missions project. I really hope the Lord will bless my time there. I know it will be hard for all of you to cope without me, but ...well... just try no to cry too much guys. And remember, I'll be back in a week. ;)

actually not at all. And I know I said that I'ld be away for a week from this site but I found out that the place I'm staying at is more like a resort and so they have a "business center" where I can use the internet for a short time if no one else is using it. So here I am. XD I'm on the CAA and in NY at the same time!!! HA ha SO FUNNY.

New York Missions Trip Update

Ya so the trip is almost over and it's been really great. We were able to fix up a cabit that was only about half way done. Now it's about 3/4 done! w00t! Also, we got a real deal with this missions trip (in a selfish sorta way :brow: ) because there is a senior class trip going on at the same time as we are here. Everyday they go out and enjoy fun stuff like skiing/snowboarding, paintball, tubing, bob sledding, shopping, etc... well yesterday the head maintenece guy told us that we were going to get to go paintballing with the seniors that were here. It was awesome. I got hit a bunch and someone hit me in the head after I had already got out, but it was so fun. Then today they let us go bobsledding (yes the real deal bobseldding) on the very track used in the 1980 Lake Placid winter olympics (those are the ones that the Jamacian Bobsled team first showed up at) :thumb: we then proceded to play tourist at the ski jumps (those things are freakin' high man!!) and also got a sceneic tour in a cesna 6 seater plane (way fun). All that for free. We totally were blown away by their generocity. The trip has really helped me learn about grace and being gracious and also what it really means to be a servant. I go home to Maine tomarrow morning (well i leave in the morning and have a 7 hour drive)
That's about it for now, over and out.
