Trolls on AIM

This one person comes by on AIM and is saying this to me

azo dye: hey.

ZenoahZero88: Hi

azo dye: if you have feelings that are not going to harm other people, you should not repress them.

ZenoahZero88: ?__?

azo dye: your attraction to that girl, whomever she might be is only your appreciation of the beauty god is capable of creating.

azo dye: it's hard-wired into you.

ZenoahZero88: who is this?

azo dye: some people are socially and religiously unable to see gods beauty, because they're afraid of persecution by their peers.

azo dye: god is love, and love is god.

azo dye: thou shalt not repress thy love.

ZenoahZero88: your confusing me...and to the point where it is frightening

azo dye: well, i'm sorry.

azo dye: how long have you been a christian?

ZenoahZero88: about...3 or so years....why

azo dye: when your religion denies you of who you are, it is counteracting its own purpose

azo dye: if you think you're bisexual, explore it within yourself.

ZenoahZero88: but....im not...not anymore at least

ZenoahZero88: Everyone at CAA helped me get past it

azo dye: get past...what

ZenoahZero88: being bisexual!

azo dye: that is the most ignorant thing anyone has ever said for me to hear.

azo dye: if you ever were bisexual (which i doubt), you cannot get over it.

azo dye: you can REPRESS it, sure

azo dye: but it's not a f***** cold.
azo dye: you don't get over it.

azo dye: it's more likely that you wanted to be bisexual because its hip or MAYBE you just wanted the attention and sympathy of your retarded christian anime friends, which would explain the embarassing simplicity of your original post, and following comments.

azo dye: i'm willing to bet on that scenario.

ZenoahZero88: okay I don't need this kind of harassment! Im still confused about the bible! I still don't know some of the rules! And i don't need anyone confusing more than I already am! Now if you excuse me im singing off AIM now!

azo dye: ooh!

azo dye: have fun being ignorant!

ZenoahZero88: I will!

Sorry this was kinda long..

I am sorry you got that....I am very happy that you feel like you have got past those feelings...don't let some ignorant fool mess with your head. Let God guide you and don't let someone try to force what is natural and what is not on you. Just let this serve as evidence that your doing somthing right..its made the devil so mad that he would use some troll to try to pester you...just my 2 cents.

Port Con Maine is a small anime con held in Portland ME. It's worth a day's visit.

I was trolled on AIM a few days ago, by one of the trolls from here at CAA. If you have your AIM here, just expect it to happen and block the trolls. :)

I agree with Shatterheart. You are definately doing something right. Like distinguishing between a chemical reaction and a physical change in chemisty, there are a few things that let you know you're doing something right:

  1. You are brutally attacked
  2. Your conscience tells you you're right
  3. You get really crazy thoughts in your head (eg. It's not going to go away or stuff like that)
There are tons more, but that's all I can think of right now.

Might I suggest we pray for "azo dye"?

- EDIT -

I like to call this kind of stuff "faith-shakers." They are an attack by Satan to try to get you to turn back. I had one of these when I was a new Christian. The attack comes first, then once you put it out of your mind, the thoughts infiltrate. "What is he's right?" "What if there IS no God? What if I am delused?"

Once Satan knows that you're not turning back, I'd love to say he'll stop, but he won't. He will only find another weakness. Sorry if I bursted your happiness. Better to be realistic than optomistic or pessimestic.

What a socially maladjusted little hypocrite.

Ok, I know that wasn't very Christianly, but still...

He (or possibly she, but I don't really care) insults you, your religion, and your friends... yet he calls you ignorant when he fails to manipulate and harass you into his point of view?!

That's, funny, none of my "retarded Christian friends" have ever acted that way...

Anyway, I agree with what everyone's said. Keep your chin up! *hugs* I'll pray that you'll have the strength to withstand your attackers, and that any and all trolls will get a life (and possibly find the truth)!

Argh. I hate people like that. i have a few friends that think being gay is some kind of permanent thing, but they don't attack me when I share my point of view, which is why they're my friends... O_O;;

> Yea go and walk proud, walk proud in your parades, and blame God that you have AIDS on your deathbed.

With all due respect, I wouldn't call AIDS the "just deserves" for a lifestyle that's morally wrong, which this statement subtly implies. No one deserves that fate, even those who willingly maintain a high risk lifestyle without regard for its consequences. Nor would I call it a disease that even strikes just the gay population; look at Africa.

Agreed.

I'd like to share some pertinent information (that I've learned from participating in these kind of debates elsewhere) but in the interest of not getting banned for appearing to defend a sin (which I am NOT intending to do, just refute a terribly bad argument against said sin), I won't.

If you're interested in hearing my rant, find me on AIM. -^.^-

I won't argue with you here, but the biggest cause of AIDS infection now are promiscuous straight and bi men who pass it on to women. Just so you know. :)

[quote="SouthernSun"]I didn't say it was something that anyone deserves, i just think it's strange how poeple think they can do whatever they want, then when the consiquences come they yell at God and blame him for not helping them...You can't always have it your way...Don't do it if theirs a consiquence. God warned ya ]

I think it's stranger how how many of my fellow Christians are willing to somehow justify a complete lack of compassion for people who're suffering.

wow... A parable of Jesus... Don't mean to draw too much attention to a person, but reminding me of that parable really struck my heart right now

I myself have been trolled on iming.....the situation was that my friend and i were having a debate on wheather witchcraft was bad right,.. this friend i mind you claims to be christian, anyway, she said that her friend who follows WICCA, says that witch craft isnt satanic... so one day i get an instant message from this girl who i didnt know wellll this gurl was flaming me and saying all these horrible things and said i was stupid and misguided for being a christian,. and claimed again that the wiccan religon wasn't satanic. well finally i had been able . to get rid of this person (and that my friends is a whole other story), but again it had turned out that my so called "christian friend" had given my screen name to her wiccan friend. I was so hurt that my friend would such an aweful thing...i wish i would have remembered what this girl said to me it was even worse then the first situation posted, ythats all i know. *sigh* but i did work out muy differences on the witch craft is bad..now ..i have an even bigger problem.....
