Quite Possibly The Best Food Ever

Postby Stephen » Thu Feb 03, 2005 11:21 am

I was just digging around my parents freezer...and I found Cheese filled corndogs. Now I am sure some of you are all anti-hotdog tofu nuts...but thats fine. I know I am not alone in my love of corndogs. My question is...are these new? Or have cheesefilled corndogs been around a while? I am about to have a Carl from Aqua Teen moment.

Shake>were gonna flash fry this cow
Carl>sweet! whats the injector for?
Shake>I am going to inject it with 4 kinds of cheese
Carl>This is gonna be soo good!

Well, I've known about cheese filled sausages since about 6 years of age, but not cheese filled corndogs. Sounds good!

Interesting. I grew up on corndogs in the summertime, so I like them well enough, but I had no idea some of them had cheese inside. Sounds yummy.

While we're talking about weird yet really good foods, any of you guys ever had a corn nugget? I didn't til I started my job, but they're really good. Little globs of creamed sweet corn battered and deep fried. ^^

You guys are making me hungry.

Actually, I've heard of cheese-filled corndogs, but I never had one, cuz I hate cheese. Love corndogs, though. Pancake and sausage on a stick's excellent.

I've never heard of a corn nugget. Do they sell it at stores? I wonder if it's a Texas thing.

Can't wait to taste those buffalo wings during Mom's Super Bowl party.

Mmm....corn dogs rock! Every time the county fair rolls around, me and my friend go from food stand to food stand begging for corn dogs. We tell them that we have no money(which is true) and that we're starved(which is also true) It actually works sometimes!
Man...cheese-filled corn dogs? That sounds TOO good! I love cheese AND corndogs so that's perfect! Grr....now I'm starved!

:thumb: Corn nuggets are awesome!!! :thumb:

A truly southern favorite of mine, they are a perfect blend of sweet and salty- I'm soooo hungry just thinking about them. Go buy some- and if you haven't ever tried them before- go buy a lot, to make up for all the years you haven't had them.

That only works if they sell them in your area. ^^ But I'm curious - they sound a lot like corn fritters. Anyone care to clear this up?

Corn Nuggets, for those poor souls who have never tasted their delicious awesomeness, are pretty simple. Basically, it's creamed corn that's put in little nugget shapes, battered, and fried. Mmmmmm.....

And if you don't know what creamed corn is- there are no words.......

cheese-filled corndogs? grooooosss.

what is the recent obsession with deep frying stuff that was already bad for you in the first place? I'm no health nut, but the idea of a deep-fried Twinkie makes my heart hurt just thinking about it. bleh.

Ah, I tasted those corn nuggets/fritters when I first came to Texas. They're pretty good. However, I'm with Shiroi, my heart hurts just thinking of all this fattening food. ^^

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Has anyone ever had fried ice cream? I've always been curious about that stuff...

I've heard of that, but have never seen it. And I always though deep-fried pepperoni was on the odd side.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

1) I just ate so Ha! I am unefected.

2) I love cheese and I love corn dogs, but I don't think you can combine the two. I wouldn't want to combine bbq sauce and chocolate...

3) Those corn nuggets sound good.

4) I second ShiHi and Chloe. All this talk of oil fat and deep frying is making my heart chug...in a not so good way.

I better not come and read this thread when I'm hungry

What are corndogs? I've heard of them before, but I don't know what they are. For me a tasty snack is bread with butter and vegemite and several slice of cheese on top. Cheese, butter and honey on bread is also great, if somewhat wierd.
