do ya guys get a lot of private messages? Like a lot daily? or a lot weekly? like approx how many people private message you on a daily basis?

I don't get a lot. like maybe one or two every few days.

Around 2 or 3 a day...most times they begin.."why did you" *laughs* Comes with the job.

I don't get a whole lot. Perhaps 4-5 a week. Usually they are questions about a series, or questions about "how do I...". Occasionally I get the disagreeable member who wants to argue about why their post was closed.

I have to beat my fan-club off with a stick. It's rough.

Come on Shoo. You need to be more organized in your fanclub! Me, I have come to understand it all. Hate mail is just little love notes in disguise...And I will belive that as long as I am writing this post....

I get a fair number of private messages, but most are of a personal nature or about the many projects I am involved in. Approximately 7.5 in the average week. Private messages directly about moderating are rarely, perhaps one a week.

We had some difficulty processing her application. She kept chasing all the bishoonen who were signing up for the Ashley fan club.

I think this has devolved to goof off material...I should go sign up for the Ashley fan club if girls will chase me

In actuality, my love life consists of playing taxi for my brother and sister and their girlfriends/boyfriends.

My "love life" is non-existant. Not that that bothers me at this stage of my life. Although I seem to be developing this crush on Tohru...

Long hours of stressful work, disagreeable members, and seeing more porn than a nudity magazine for no pay whatsoever, as well as constantly debating about whether this violates that rule or should be left open, and balancing discipline with grace.

I feel like Gimli, sans beard and much to Shatterheart and Gypsy's half-pint nicknames, taller. "Certainty of death. Small chance of success. What are we waiting for?"

Seriously though, while there is some perks to being on staff...overall it is a long, arduous road that few would really choose to travel if not for the Lord's call.

Okay, has anyone ever been "un-modded"? (lack of words)

Well, we all take our breaks on occasion. Sometimes we need a break, need to focus on other pressing things (school, work, real life things, etc). Yes, someone once stepped down as a moderator (actually 2 someones...one someone is still an active part of the staff again and the other one lurks around on occasion) but they were quickly rewelcomed after their stint away from the staff. ^^ And I'm happy for it to, cause I missed them.

We had a mod at Anime Angels who stepped down because she got too busy modding at TWeb. (Hi Mom! ^_^ *waves* )
