I dunno... ghibli films never had flashy posters or cover arts... But, I thought this one was too lame...

I know Ghibli was never satisfied with reworked versions of coverart for some films (ex: Laputa... shudder...). But, I don't know if this one is any better...

not to be whiney...

But, I think Miyazaki's films deserve better face on the cover of DVD or on the posters...

I did some time ago... a mock up poster art layout...

Yeah... I must say Princess Mononoke had the best poster so far...

Grave of the Fireflies wasn't handled by Disney... so, it doesn't apply here.

Which means... Totoro doesn't apply to this argument... yet... It was handled by Fox before... and they had horrible cover too... sigh...

Mirimax, a Disny subsidiary that does the films for older ages.

I'm sorry, but that's more hilarious than catchy.

Spirited Away was the one handled by Disney. They didn't bother with Princess Mononoke, unless I heard wrong.

I think that desperate wolves fighting to the death for their land and a (bishie) guy with a wacko arm who slays demons doesn't appeal to them.
