Is the age that you put on your profile your actual age or not?

Yes it is. I don't know why I should fake it. If I made myself older, people would think I'm wierd, because I act 15 (at least I hope I act my age XD).

I admit, I don't like posting my age. It's 23, in case anybody is wondering. I don't like it - I always feel too old or too young.

My age is not listed on this site, so I suppose that it is technically incorrect. If it were correct, I would not admit it. The age that I have posted on this site before, however, was correct at the time it was posted. It is not an issue of not wanting anyone to know my age, but merely seeing no reason for it to be listed underneath my avatar and being a part of others' first impressions.

Aye, that's the main thing - people can make a lot of judgments based on an age, especially when they're looking at you on a bulletin board and don't have much else to go on.

Come to think of it, location can do the same thing. I should nuke mine, any way - not a good thing to put on the internet.

EDIT: On second thought, no. I'd rather be known as a Memphian than just as poster of a hundred-something messages and the Asteroids champion. Haha! "Asteroids" and "Champion" just look so funny together. I feel like I'm wearing one of those old Burger King crowns.

Well, I guess there are a lot of preconceived notions about the south - especially about schooling - in which case, I'd be at a greater disadvantage than you, Cap'n. However, I have known many generalities false - some need to be proven wrong, though it isn't an agenda.

yup, I really am 19... although sometimes I think I act a little immature for my age....
