Mods there is a troll that was on CAA sometime today and posted some reallly bad stuff.
Members please do not look at any posts made by "howabout" they are awful and I am especially worried for the younger members here.
There isnothing else I can do but pray and hope a Mod sees this before too much happens.
Very worried,
Kisa

they pm too
user cp -> misc (in the bar on the left hand side of the screen; at the bottom) -> buddy/ignore list -> add whatever names
that should block whatever pms and messages you see in the threads.

thank you guys for posting this thread - I hope the mods take care of this as soon as possible, because both those users are posting -really- disturbing pics; I'm afraid to browse or post anywhere because they're posting on so many threads..

I've bumped all of the stickies in the general forum, but it's difficult to think of something to say sometimes because i don't want to just spam. Good work kisa.
EDIT: Well ive done my best. There's still some threads that need to be bumped to clear the last post tag but i give up.

Whenever trouble is brewing in CAA, I usually notify the mods via some chat system because it's way faster (believe me, the mods respond in split seconds even if they weren't logged into CAA at that moment). It saves time and the mods are so quick that most of the time, no one in CAA even suspected something happened.
It also means that I don't have to be logged into CAA. It helps to have guests/lurkers, consisting of CAA members who are also lookout for the general well-being of the forum. It's always good to have such members help notify mods of any hanky-panky.

Also, please avoid posting alert threads like this, even if it seems like a good idea to warn others. The problem is that the trolls can also see the alert, and will usually oblige by changing names or posting more.
I know that the idea was to warn people away from that content, but it usually winds up making a much bigger mess (and it gives the trolls the attention they're after).

Sorry to bump this again but this is why I mentioned the option of notifying mods via the chat system or PM. ^_^

One last note and we'll let this thread die peaceable. Yes we really appriciate everyone who pointed out the trouble, especially on a rare occasion when many of us weren't available. I would like to point out though if you want to contact us in the future, there's a "report post" icon (or, as Mave mentioned, a chat client or PM). This sends a message to all the admins, and it creates a thread that only we can see letting us know right away when there's trouble. Usually there is at least 1 mod/admin on to handle things, but sometimes it just happens that we aren't and I do apologize for the trash you guys had to see.
