First time anyone's ever posted a thread to welcome me back that wasn't posted by myself.......promised myself I wouldn't cry...be strong Archan, be strong

Yes I'm back, and God knows He's the only reason I keep making it back here quarter after agonizing college quarter......but I make it!

A good majority of the reason I was away this time however was mostly due to very very very big art projects, all which were completed to satisfactory, I even got to work with a guy whom worked on Spiderman the movie as well as Timemachine, Abyss, and a few other flicks, it was really great and the set we built looked awesome. I have pictures though which I will post via the Art album as soon as I get them loaded. But regardless, there was soo much done this year, and the group I worked with (AEM: short for Apostolic Entertainment Minisrty) invited me back to work on another porject for them, a full elngth feature film....I'm am so hyped you have no ideal.........

But anyways, I wasn't going to post the usual hey this is where I've been and what I'm doing letter I usually do, but since Sheherazade was so kind to welcome me back (Along with Shatterheart in the christmas thread, thanks for the welcome bro!) I'll give you a summary on the projects I worked on.

One project we did was Virtual Hell, a kind of big Christian drama that takes place during the month of October over here in Calif. I worked on the set (Though the majority of it was done by Eric, the guy who worked on Spiderman and stuff), meaning I did concepts for set, props, character, and once things were approved and green lit I worked on costumes and making my creations come to life. I primarily did the demons and the devil himself, along with makeup for all the tortured souls. Along with this I was a stage hand, creative consultant, set hand (There were video sequences shot as well), I was doing so much they just didn't bother labeling me with one particular job and dubbed me "The Art Guy", it was so rad! Now I'm holding storyboarding workshops at AEM and co-writing the script for the new movie project coming up, as soon as characters are set, I'll probably be doing concept work......too cool!

Then there was another project I did for kids at another local church in Haecienda Hights, it was a kids camp and we had a superhero theme so I got to design all the hero's from the bible as superhero's, it was so great. I basically made them all look like members of the JLA, even adapted the Bruce Timm art style for the project, among them were Samson, Elisha, Deborah, Young David (Before he was king) and I think that was it. I even got to design the church as a sort of fortress fo solitude, too much fun.

And of course there's the usual, Teaching Art at my art class, college, a temporary christmas job...yadda yadda yadda.

And thats all I've been and still am doing. Whew, God is too good though, and I thank Him for blessing me the was He has, God knows I sure don't deserve it, but like the Supertones put it, "God I know I'm just a man, but you tell me I'm not just a man!" That rings ever so true right now.

Anywho's, I promise I'll post everything I have in the art thread as soon as I get it all loaded, and trust me it's a whole lot! Sheherazade, your too kind....

Yes, I'm a member, I go under the alias Chaos and mostly stick around the Science and evolution part of TW, my first post I managed to rile up three to four members and we all got to writer uber-long posts and replies and such and to this day, they still haven't been able to tell me what the process of Evolution actually is itslef, it was great. I wish I had more time to spend there, it's been years since I've been able to hone my debating skills.....the last big (Well, not really big, but at the least satisfying) debate I took part in was here at CAA concerning halloween (Thanks to the CAA staff for allowing that to happen BTW, you guys have no ideal how much that meant to me, and I promise I won't tempt fate twice.... ) and at TW concerning well, a bunch of scientific stuff....a whole bunch! do you go under the same alias as here or do you have a different name as well?

I just call them albums, force of habit....perhaps it's all the intensive training my college puts me through....bench pressing animation tables and lying on a board full of lead pencils instead of nails.... Either way, expect a visit....he he he

Alas, one of my fave traditional medium artist here at CAA, thanks for the welcome, we traditional/organic artist have to stick together no? I look forward to seeing what other art you and everyone else has done as well, I have sooooooo much catching up to do in the art corner....hopefully I can get up to speed before I'm swallowed whole again by my senior year of college (The final hurdle......so to speak)
