hmmm.... for your girlfriend. Make sure it has something that you took the time to get. Make it fairly expensive (around 50 bucks) NOT clothes!

never clothes
possibly some of those bath & body works thing. Browse around the store a nd see what other people are buying (and i dont mean buy what a 50 year old lady buys, watch what other girls her age are buying) then pick the same thing

those gift basket thigns work as well

or, you dont have to give her a material gift

just take her out somewhere.... like.... that is a super special place that she will always remember and never forget. Then at the end, give her the gift...

or you could always just buy her a ps2 and ddr extreme

Oooooh, if she likes candles then get her some of those scented ones! I'm pretty sure most chicks dig those...

Well, as a dog-demon, you could always try pet shampoo. :)

Otherwise, well, we really don't know anything specific about her, so we wouldn't know the "perfect present" for her if it posted in this thread. Think about what she likes, what she enjoys doing, and whether she might have "hinted" about something in the past. (has she mentioned wishing for something recently? Looked appreciatively at something that might be suitable? Maybe you could get her a movie she likes or something.)
The cake used to be a lie like you, but then it took a portal to the deception core.

hehe^^ well as a girl, may I have a say?^^;;
well, I don't know about all the other girls out there,
but personally for me, I don't like expensive gifts >_<
If I ever had a boyfriend, I'd want to be felt that he loves me
and truly cares for me, not just materialistic wise~
but I guess I may be the weird one too^^;; I'm not sure, but
just my opinion^^ I'm sure whatever you get her she'll like
if she really likes you^-^
Good luck~

Ah-yes, the voice of reason surfaces. ;)
I agree with WL, money should not matter (and if it does... get a new girlfriend.). Make her somthing sentimental. You must have pictures of her, or her and you together. Make a photo-book (Creative Memory style) of the two of you and your fun together.
Start a tradition, buying an Christmas ornimant each year that is significant to the both of you and/or your relationship (or some memory you both share).
Write her a poem, or plan a day of fun with all the above!
Girls like stuff they can look at and think of you by.
It really shouldnt matter what you get each other, as long as you do it in love.

Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

No offence please, but Im not so sure that sharing your feelings with another can be considered a gift. (lest your love be so covited)

Would you have not announced your love were it not Christmas?

Just wondering.

Having been married 22 years I have this advice,

Ask yourself what YOU would like, and then buy her the exact opposite of it.

I agree. You don't need to be professing love at your age. It's probably not love (maybe, but not likely). A gift will be fine.

Present advice.... Best you don't get advice from me. I had to ask my friend if it was okay to give a girl a blender for a gift. Seriously, I'm no good when it comes to gifts.

What little I do know:
don't get anything too expensive, that may be overdoing it. Perhaps making it look like you are trying to buy her love. You know her the best; give her something from your heart-- something that's very sentimental to her. Seriously, all my sentimental things aren't worth much, only the memories I place in them. That's what really counts--the thought behind it.

So in conclusion: price should have no bearing on the gift, it's the thought behind it that counts. It's it's expensive so be it, but it's also okay to get something no up in the high price range. Perhaps something hand made would work fine: bracelet, drawing etc..
Though it may be I have no idea what I'm talking about-- I know little about what girls really want :P.

Also, seeing you are only 14yrs I doubt you have the money to purchase her a PS2 or something expensive :P. Just keep it practical and memorable.

Amen to that. I'm sure your girlfriend doesn't need or expect to be "bought" or showered with expensive presents to know you care for her. Get her something personal, something that shows you pay attention to her likes and interests, that's what really speaks to me as a girl. Like, is there a band she likes? Get her a poster. Is there a specific scent she adores? A bath set or candle in that flavor would be nice (although, admittedly, cliche). Does she have a favorite place to eat? Take her out and then watch her favorite movie with her. Something to that effect--it doesn't have to be expensive or fancy. Anything to show you care about HER the PERSON not just her because she's your girlfriend. I'm sure you'll do fine; the fact you're even asking should be proof enough you care. ^^

I agree with all the points about buying someone a personal gift. For example a friend of mine loves Pink Floyd so I got her a t-shirt with the Dark Side of the Moon symbol on it. Also a friend of mine knows I absolutely love the movie Full Metal Jacket so they got me an R. Lee Ermey "motivational" doll. (with NCO sword and Gunny hat;))
