Hardest present

Postby Maledicte » Wed Dec 22, 2004 10:41 am

what was the hardest present you had to wrap? This year or otherwise
The hardest present i had to wrap was a baseball cap. Two baseball caps. The old-fashioned way. No boxes, no bags with tissue paper. Just a ginormous roll of cheap wrapping paper that crinkled real ugly and left those white crinkly lines if you tried to straighten it.
Baseball caps. Ugh.

My hardest present was definitely trying to wrap a katana I got for my best JKD student (I dont know why he wanted a katana ::shrug::.) It wasnt so much the actual wrapping as it was trying to get it NOT to look like a katana...

Stuffed animals. This year I wrapped a stuffed cow (no box) and last year I put a bow on a stuffed armadillo. O.o Just ask Gypsy and Spades about their roommates.

an XBOX controller - ugh.

Also strange was wrapping a scented tube of hand cream, with a bag of potpourri that was slightly smaller, and a picture frame which was smaller than the other things. Wow. :?:

Wrap in what, news paper or wrapping paper.... :P

Well if I ever wrap anything round (ie: basketball), I just grap a bunch of wrapping paper and roll it around and tape it in random places. I mean, it seems to do the job quite well.
Though, seriously anything w/ more than 4 pointy corners is quite hard to wrap. We guys aren't the best gift wrappers. Just put it in a paper bag and staple it :). "Merry Christmas...." :P

Hardest present to wrap, eh??

My family pitched it and bought a water slide for my grandmas pool. We had to have all the male cousins wrap the thing. It took like 3 or 4 rolls...this was like 5 years ago.
