Don't know how normal it's gonna be. There's alot of stuff up in the air. I really would just hope to be with my family-- if that's possible.

What am I doing for christmas? Well we have a family tradition. We burn bowling pins in the fire place. It really sets the mood quite nicely.

Nah, I'm just playing. I'll probably just stay home and take the day to relax. It's nothing big, but whatever. Also, to give thanks to God.

My parents are talking about going to my uncle's house about 3 hours north of here. It'd be a short trip though, since my father works immediately after Christmas if not Christmas day (medicine takes no holidays). I'm not too crazy on the idea; I really prefer to have a small, immediate family gathering rather than a cramped big one like thanksgiving, even if we did find a mouse in our fake tree last night.

Ah well. I do know 3 mainers who will be getting a phone call. That's our own little tradition. ;)

I have a pretty small family, we invited my brother and his girlfriend to dinner but I doubt they will come. More then likely it will be my parents and I. Just hanging out and eating some grub here at the house. Dad and I will probably mount the deer horns of the deer we got this fall. Somthing fun like that.

The first thing I'm going to do is wake up the family on Christmas morning with a hearty round of plumbing-based explosions, because I cannot contain my joy at Christmas and must express it through the destruction of toilets! (good thing we have two!) After that, it's off to the gerbil cage, where we'll try to put the tiny Christmas sweaters on the tiny Christmas gerbils. No, they're not protesting, they're squeaking with joy, because they loooove Christmas! :) Then, because we don't have snow, we plan on wadding up newspaper and having a newspaper-ball fight. In the front yard. After that I plan on setting all the paper balls on fire...hey wait a sec, why is everyone looking at me like that?

Oh, all right...so I just plan on staying home with my family...>.> lol

Since there are no relatives of mine in Australia, not even distant ones, my family will have to have a lonely Christmas. My father's back in Korea, so he'll miss out on... um... not much really.

My wife and kiddos will be heading up to her family in North Carolina on Tuesday. Since I do a Christmas Candlelight Service on Wednesday night I'll follow on Thursday. We will spend Christmas morning together but I'll have to return home Saturday afternoon for Sunday services. My wife plans to stay a little longer to help out with her father.

Testing one two three, testing... Okay we're back online.
Um... probably having a nice meal with the immediate family, but we crazy Lutherans go to church on CHRISTmas Eve and open our presents the same night! One of the advantages of being part German. Obviously thanking God for sending His son to us as a tiny baby, not getting caught up in the commercialism of CHRISTmas.
Jesus rules!

I'll just be going to my grandmas as usual for Christmas, but this is my first Christmas as a Christian so I'll be sure to thank God for all He has done for me.

For the past few Christmas', my family hasn't done the whole prezzie thing, nor even had a tree. However, although it sounds rather dull (from a world perspective), it is quite nice cause the emphasis is more on family, not material things.
This Christmas we will be doing the same thing but in a new home!

I will sleep until eveyone else gets impatient and alternately bangs on random objects and bounces on my bed to get me up. After that, we'll probably read the Christmas story, open presents (unless we decide to do that on Christmas eve like sometimes), hang out, and eat lots. I will probably go back to catching up on all the sleep I missed because of classes afterwards. ^__^

I'm staying home, but my brother is coming to town. He lives in VA and I in oHIo, so we don't see much of each other. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm living at my grandparents' house this week while they're out of town, then on Friday (Christmas Eve) I'll stay at MY house again, then go back to their house on Saturday. Praise the Lord, they'll be back Sunday. ANYWAY. This is going to be a funky Christmas for me..

I'll hang around my house, I'll go to church Christmas Eve, open some presents, wake up Christmas day, open more presents in the stocking and at my grandparents house. Then I go down with my dad to go to New Orleans for a few days, then to his place in Florida, it's actually an angus cattle farm, prety cool really.

Weeeeeell, my parents are really busy back in Japan. My dad has to grade his final exams and my mom doesnt get a break from that company ::shakes fist::. So, I'll be spending my Christmas here and alone, but I'm used to it now so its no big deal. I might try to call my dad on his mobile, but if he's busy then he probably wont answer it. So all in all, its gonna be a pretty boring Christmas filled with TV, Xbox, CAA, Pop Tarts, and the occasional well-placed "To the max..."

My family and I have this one tradition: Watching "A Christmas Story." And every Christmas Eve: Going to St. Joseph Long Term Care, and singing traditional gospel hymns and Christmas songs to the elderly down there. And Christmas morning, we're just going to my grandparent's place(just 22 miles south from where I live. Same thing with St. Joseph).
All of you have a merry Christmas, and God bless.

Hmm staying home, watching "Its a wonderful life" on Christmas eve, going to my grandparents Christmas day, eating way too much (not if I can help it ><).....
pretty normal and boring.... ^^''
Anyone have any traditions for Christmas? We always read the REAL Christmas story from Matthew before we open presents, we open one Christmas eve, we go to church christmas eve, we watch a Christmas movie.... I can't think anymore, lol......

Does anyone else get sick of the Christmas tv shows/movies on TV? Santa Claus this, Santa Claus that. And then some adorable little kid says the true meaning of CHRISTmas: friends and family and giving?!!! Right. How about there be more real meaning of CHRISTmas and less rubbish television and Santa worshipping?

Though I still have no idea what I'm doing, I know what my brother will be doing... Watching the 24hr "Christmas Story" movie marathon on TBS/TNT (whichever). Gosh, that movie gets real annoying real fast. It's okay the first time (at most), but after that... err....

Well on Friday, I'm going to my grandmparents house with my dad's side of the family. Than at 6 we are finally going to our litle 99 member home church (instead of my cousins church that has like a million people in attendance) for the Christmas Eve service and than going to my Nani's house for Christmas Eve night. That night is always magical and special and everyone loks foward to it. Than come home and hang our stockings, I may goof around with whatever I got my my nani and pop and family. Christmas morning I wake up at 3 and go downstairs, lay on the couch near the tree, eat cleminitines and fall asleep. I than wake up at 6 and I make goof around with my gifts that I got from Christmas eve. Around 7-8 everyone wakes up and we open presents one at a time. It takes longer and we can savor it more. Than I go off and play, listen, read, or watch my gifts. Noni and Pop will than come over and later that night, we go to my cousins house for a party or this year we may stay home to watch the Extended Edition of Return of the King.
