OK. How creepy is that.
You have got to be pretty desperate for something like that.

What is the world coming to.

I have one thing to say to anyone after that thing:
"Go court a real girl" then you can have a lap and a great wife.
A nightingale in a golden cage
That's me locked inside reality's maze
Come someone make my heavy heart light
Come undone, bring me back to life
It all starts with a lullaby

*scratches head w/ a confused look on his face*

To be quite honest, those look very uncomfortable. Plus I wouldn't be caught dead w/ one of those... kind of sad. Plus, owning one is quite embarrassing on it's own. Also, I doubt that pillow will help the guys get a girlfriend, actually, it'll probably make their situation even worse. Probably freak out the girls more then anything else. *shrugs, while continuing to scratch his head in confusion*

I think I need to head to Japan to find a girlfriend, since they seem to be so desperate. Probably better luck finding a soulmate over than then in the States.

They're pretty expensive I hear (then again, everything is expensive there). Here's a thought for the guys in Japan actually thinking of buying one: why don't you take the money you could spend on a lap pillow, and buy something nice for a girl you like?

Yeah, that's-- really. really. sad.

And equally funny.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

At first glance it's funny, but in another way it's rather sick, actually. A tip off is the 'detail' put into it. Disturbing.

You know, the reason that guys have been having so much trouble finding girlfriends in Japan is that all of the women are dating their pillows. Now they'll never get together, and Japan's population will shrink even faster! Oh noes! Our grandchildren might not have anime to watch all because of these pillows!

(Well, it might be the unreasonable work schedules and the high cost of living, but I'd rather blame the pillows.)

In any event, I half expected this thread to be about the show Final Approach, before I noticed which forum it was in.
