I don't know. I just heard about him in our sex and abstinence siminar over the last two weeks.

If you're talking about him, he was a sex psychologist whose studies have had a very profound impact even today. For instance, one of his claims was that 10% of the American population is homosexual (which is not true; it's more like 1-2%, 3 at the VERY most). However, all of his studies were EXTREMELY biased. One of the questions was "How old were you when you...." If a person had responded no to whatever he asked, he would say something like "I know you've done that before. Now, how old were you when you did it?" Needless to say, many people were pressured into answering falsely. If you want more info, I can find it for you, but that's all I can give you off the top of my head.

Yeh, I heard he was a real nut job and molested over 200 little girls and boys in his time. I also heard he was extremely biased in his study. Aren't they making a movie about his life?

Yup. A wonderful mixture of Freud and Michael Jackson.

As it seems, our siminar instructor, a fellow Christian, was very upset when she found out the critics loved the movie...

I'm going to close this thread -- I think the original question has been answered, and regardless of your opinion of the truth or falsity of Kinsey's sex studies, the details are probably inappropriate for discussion.
