HEy does anyone know where i can find some good Christian comics and/or Christian comics forums? I really do like anime and all but i like the American stuff too
When i say "good" Christian comics i don't mean Left Behind (yawn), Archangels (CHEESE....why does Michael have to be so BORING and the dang DEMON have to be so cute???) or Metron Press (they're taking for EVER). I mean solid writing and at least half-way decent artwork. I am an aspiring comics writer/cover artist and I'd like to see some honest-to-goodness GRAPHIC LITERATURE that gives us as Christians a good name.
thanks!

One of the best (if not *THE* best) Christian comics forum is currently still out of comission at Christiancomics.net :\ Last I heard, they were still trying to fix things... not sure why there's still the hold-up.
But in the mean time, you can join the yahoo group :

As for some good professionally made Christian comics, I'll plug in for Community Comics:

There's quite a lot going on in the Christian comics scene other than Archangels and the guys at Metron Press and it'll take a while to go through them all ^^ You can get somewhat of a start by browsing through some of the links I have under "generals" with 'comic' beside them:

Hey, now, I am somewhat a fan of the Archangels series, provided we are speaking about the same one (9 issues? Eternal Studios?). I have no issue with people honestly disagreeing, but assuming that we refer to the same series, could you please tell me who you refer to as "cute"?
But personally, I'd like to see some serious graphic literature as well. Neil Gaiman's Sandman type stuff (minus some of the brutality) from a Christian worldview.

There is the Hero comic, based on the rock opera. It is kinda short though. IT is Jesus' story set in today's time. IN the opera, Michael Tait is Jesus and Rebecca St. James is Mary Magdalene. So, they look like those people in the comic.
