Yes, its true. CAAs very own Ashley is the birthday girl today! Everyone should take the time to send her a PM with some kind words of encourgement. She carries a burden for this site...has since she started it way back when. This calls for a special celeb birthday wish....

Awww, well thank you everyone! And I won't even attempt to say thank you in as many languages as were presented here. ^^ And yes, as Shatterheart called it
"Fortuna dies natalis! (Ashs fav I bet)" and Termyt's "Felicum natalum, pastora" were indeed my favorites.

Today started out kinda rough--driving in to Houston with heavy traffic at 6:30 am to take 2 tests--but you guys have made it quite enjoyable. Thank you very much guys.

Happy Birthday Ashley! As I stated before, this forum ROCKS!!! Thank you so much for creating a place for Christians to come together and talk about a favorite interest. Not only that, but this place is also a great ministry, using a common interest such as anime to reach out to others and help other Christians grow (thanks to the theology, Bible Study, and Daily Devotional forums).

Remember what Paul told Timothy, "Let no one despise your youth." Also, Paul says in Romans I believe to "put aside every hindrance and run the race." God loves you Ashley and I encourage you continue on. Sure, alot of us can be....trying at times. But thanks for having great patience and love in running this place.

And now, as my ex-pastor used to say to end every sermon (it's been so long that I'm ad-libbing ALOT!):
"And now as we leave this place, may the Holy Spirit of the Lord and His peace rest and abide in us until we shall meet again. Good morning (or in this case afternoon) and maranatha."

It appears that I have arrived somewhat late to the party. In any case, I offer my "Janam Din ki badhai, Ashley!" wishes as well. Hope you have a great, fun, relaxing day and that you get some quality time with God to reflect and pray. Hebrews 13:20-21.

Yes, "Janam Din ki badhai!" is (supposedly) "Happy Birthday" in Hindi. No, I don't know Hindi (I don't know ANY Indian languages since my parents speak two different languages and never taught me either of them). I just looked it up using the Internet... :sweat:

Wow, what can I say that everyone hasn't?
First off Happy 18th birthday. I really do hope your day goes extremely well and you get to spend it w/ the people you love and care for. Kind of sucks you have to take two finals, but at least you'll have some fun this afternoon. I really hope your day is an enjoyable one you'll remember.
