What is something that you are thankful for this thanksgiving?

Love is that feeling you get when a girl looks at you and it feels like your driving a car at high speeds and experience a sudden drop. You know what i mean? That sudden sinking feeling you get in your stomach? Yeah, that's love. Leave's you speechless everytime.

CAA. And I mean that.

And my family. I'm becoming more and more aware of just how blessed I truly am to have a Godly heritage.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Anime is one of the biggest things I can put. It's been with me for so many years and formed alot of what i believed before becoming a christian. Things like destiny. What other explanation could there be for the way things always work out perfectly i thought? The answers that anime gave became my own answers to so many questions. Anime also led me to find my true love and later find CAA as well.

The second thing i can be thankful for is God's love. He was always there with me even when i didn't believe in Him. I always thought i had a guardian angel because i could always feel a beings presence always there keeping me safe from harm. A loving presence.

I've found true love this year and that is definately something i can be thankful for. She is the reason I became a christian and found CAA. She is the most important person to me in the world. God brought us together and made both of us stronger christians. I find it amazing that God could use me, a person who didn't believe in Him to bring a christian closer to Him.

Those three are the most important things I'm thankful for and not in that order. The fact that my family arent christians is another blessing. I'm sure many people here live in christian families and would say that that is a blessing, but equally i can say that not to live in a christian family is a blessing too. Not living in one gives you the freedom to choose for yourself and not be forced into something you may not want to believe in. :)
Absence is to love as wind is to a flame. It extinguishes the little, it ignites the great.

Life is a test. It is only a test. Had this been real life you would have have been instructed where to go and what to do.

When i argue with reality I lose.....But only 100% of the time.

Once you've decided on a course of action, only you can finish it. As long as you remember that, there's nothing you can't accomplish.

Everything said above, of course, and also that I got sick during a long weekend and didn't have to miss classes. I know that sounds sarcastic, but I'm serious. There is no way I could afford to miss classes right now.
