I was a teen when I asked my male teacher, what is "Kismis"? (It's suppose to be a type of fruit in my native language).

However, it came out sounding like "Kiss me" when I asked that question. You can imagine everyone looking shocked especially since that teacher was quite popular and good-looking. (-_-); Yup, it's one of my embarrassing moments of my life.

I have too many to count. But some of my odd ones are:
"It's a ring toss game."
"Oh I get it! Oh wait... huh, what?"
"I do it to fit in, I just want to be popular"
"Why do I have to wear a helmet when walking? Opps sorry, misunderstood"

*teacher* "all right I want you to use up all 100 squares on this 10x10 grid. I want you to map a hall way so there's 4 rooms, two exits, and make the grid realistic as if it were to be built in real life"

*me* (thinking)[huh? 10x10 grid... 20... how am i gonna do this???] *goes up to teacher* how on earth do I fit 100 squaresa on a 10x10 grid?!? *thinks for a minute* OHHHHHHH!!!!!! lol.

Ya well the treacher found it so funny that I messed up something so simple, (specially with my rep as a math wiz, it hurts ya know? lol) that he told the whole class... and they all got a hoot out of it. :eh:

Um...I can't remember. >"< There are alot of those...

Like there was this poor girl, when I was in fourth or fifth grade, and she didn't have any friends and she's like "can I hang out with you guys"? Because I was sitting with my really mean manipulative friend that threw things at me and tried to get me to do stuff I shouldn't...like swimming in somebody's pool that I don't know with my clothes on and no bathing suit >_______<
And so I was pre-occupied and I'm like "Oh, that's okay. ^^ I'm already busy with my friends."

And now I feel really dumb and stupid and guilty and alot of times I pray that someone nicer than me will come along and be her friend, because I know what it's like to be lonely (even though I was lonely partially because I was a brat) and she REALLY could have used a smile or a kind word at the moment. I'm sure she still does. I'm hoping one of these days I'll meet her and be able to tell her I'm sorry and I want to start over again...and I don't care about being pretty or popular anymore and I'm not *as* stupid as I was...and I want to be her friend T_____T
I don't think she was a Christian either :waah!:
Oh, I'm SUCH a dork sometimes...

Guess it was one of those "learning experiences". I've had quite a few of those. .____. I just hate that it had to come at others' expense. I was such a snot-nosed brat...I hope it's not as obvious now o_O 'Cause I still am XD

My mom says it like this: "Some people aren't well-liked because they let their selfishness shine out in the open, in front of everyone, and they don't care about how it's affecting other people. But most of us have a cute little bonnet for ours.
My selfishness has a bonnet. I don't let alot of people see it, but it's still there."

Heheh...^____^ My selfishness has a bonnet! ._____.

Don't remember all the stupid things I've said... so instead I'll share some things the little sister of my friend was philosophising over *snort*:

LS: "...Is a pecan a nut?"
BS: "Huh... uh yeah why?"
LS: "...How do you roast a nut?"
BS: "...What?"
LS: "How do you roast somthing that is already crunchy?"

"...This crust tastes like bread..." *said while eating pizza*

LS: "Is a turkey a duck?"
BS: "...Uh no!"
LS: "Oh wait... a duck's a bird!"

*cough...* scarey thing is this girl is 15 now...

During my chemistry classes I was bored to death. In fact, I was so bored that I had to say something. But then again, I always say things wrong. I said to my friend,

"I'm boring".

He started laughing his head off for some reason.

Oh yeah, in that same class I was asked a question by my friend. Some chemistry question, multiple choice it seemed. I thought the answer was A so I told him

"Yes."

He started going on and on about I'm idiot because you can't put 'yes' and an answer for a multiple choice question. I mean, it may sound stupid, but it IS possible >_<

the stupidest thing I've said to someone was:

"I hate you too!!"

then we resumed fighting.
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing left in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' ...you'll be a Man, my son!

I'm in the kitchen getting a glass out of a high cupboard, talking to my friend, as my dad walks into the kitchen and i'm not paying attention, i dropped the glass and it shattered on the floor, my dad just looked at me and i said a really dumb thing "At least its only one of the small ones" suffice to say my dad wasn't pleased :bang: :bang: :bang:

Oh, I know.

One of my friend was telling me that everyone in her Geometry class was a complete idiot. She said "The first day the teacher said, this is a compass. This is how you use it. All we did was use protractors all day, and still everyone was complaining!"

And I said, "That's funny! Compasses are so simple. I mean, contract. Expand. Contract. Expand. Draw circles. It's too easy!"

Several of people listening started laughing and said, "The one that contracts and expands is the compass! A protractor is the semi-circle with degree marks on it."

Yeah, needless to say, I felt like a complete idiot. I'm never commenting on anyone's stupidity ever again, because evertime I do--- I'm the one who end up sounding dumb. :wah:
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

but i have so many...

lol, i frequently am victim to attacks of verbal dyslexia. once in band class, our instructor had decided that we weren't going to wear our uniforms for a concert like we had in the past. the girl next to me, Bessie, and i talked about it, and thought it would be a good idea for everyone to wear black and white, to look more professional. so i turned to the instructor to say, "mr. T, Bessie and i vote black and white." simple enough, but nooo. what came out was, "mr. T, Bessie and i bloat..." luckily, he didn't hear, but Bessie did, and it took quite a while for us to quit laughing and actually tell the instructor what i meant to say.

i am also prone to making up my own words, for example, sometimes, i call people 'goober' when they are being silly/stupid/etc. when they are being even more so, i call them 'gooners' (i have no clue where or when i came up with that, lol). i was IMing with a good friend of mine who is prone to fits of stereotypical blondness, and i called her a 'gooner,' she replied, "i am not a 'gooneer'!" so from them on, we both call her 'gooneer.'

and a final example of something really dumb is: when my little sister snottily said to me "slap your chest and bite your ear" (which some people do to demonstrate stupidity...). the only come-back i could come up with that was as equally stupid was "scratch your knee and lick your forehead." lol, and if you do try it, they are both equally impossible to fully accomplish, and both make who ever is doing them look entirely unintelligent.

Probably the stupidest thing I have said was, well… nothing at all.

Scene: My first Christmas with my wife.

Story: I guess she must have put a lot of thought and care into what she got me, and usually I am very sensitive to peoples emotions, but when I opened my gift I just couldn’t figure out why she got me what she did.

I didn’t say a thing, I just looked at it. There was this dramatic pause before she burst into tears and ran out of the room… My heart still aches when I think about the look on her face. But yeah, that was the stupidest thing I have ever done.

Note: The gift was a model train set… I think trains are nice, but I still can’t figure it out. I’m one of those people who still get a kick out of seeing trains, large ships, and planes. So perhaps that was why she got it for me, and since I like modeling, I began to think that it would be neat to slowly make a town for the train and keep it in the basement… However, that fell through when I was told it was supposed to go around the tree at Christmas and that was it.

*shrug*

I still don’t get it.

-kaji
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
