Greetings to you.

I'm the Doctor.

Ok, not really, that's just my name here.

I can't tell you all my enthusiasm and joy upon finding this site. I had yet to find a website were Christians who are anime fans gather together and chat. I look forward to talking with you all and sharing our fav anime loves, upcoming stuff from Japan, what to be warned against, and super cool J-music. And of course, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Much love to you guys, from a fellow anime fan.

Sincerely,
?

Welcome Doc from one who operates as a firefighter emt for over 31 years so if you need some medical advise I try to see if I can help. Word of advise, worry when you turn 50 and the doctor says colon exam time. I am just gald it only happens every 5 years. The preparation and the aftermath HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! The exam nurse says "This will make you light headed." Nurse says "Sign this and get up and get dressed into this wheelchair and go home."

I won't hold it against you that you have a Sylvester McCoy avatar instead of a Jon Pertwee avatar (who was my favorite Doctor). Welcome to CAA.

I had the chance to meet Pertwee at a Dr. Who convention in Dallas back in the 80s while I was in Seminary. My wife really was worried about me dragging her to that. But it was great.

WOW

Glad to see I'm not the only Dr. Who fan here.

Yeah, I like Sylvestor McCoy. These days, the 7th Doctor is my favorite, though he only really had ONE good adventure (Remembrance of the Daleks). What I liked most about him is his humor, short temper, detachment, and his uber-intelligent mind creating grand strategies to put away his enemies.

However, the one who turned me on to Dr. Who, and the one I'm still a big fan of is none other than the 4th Doctor, Tom Baker. "There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes." He is perhaps one of the greatest doctor's ever!
What a pity his health is going downhill these days.

By the way, BBC is bringing Dr. Who back with a new series. (And a new Doctor). Bad news: The producer and head writer is the same guy who was the producer of Queer as Folk, the HBO homosexual series. If the Doctor begins flirting with guys...I shall be most displeased. :-(

Well, to the earlier questions, I was brought up in a Christian home, which helped nudge me along to following Christ. As for Superbook...don't get me excited! :-) What a great show!

Gizmo: De De De Deep.
