question about signatures!

I don't get it... unless a mod can verify that my sig was too big or whatever, I don't understand why it's not working anymore....
http://www.christiananime.net/showthread.php?t=13738
That's my test topic... what my sig used to look like and how it is now (and I'll be darned if it actually decides to work on this topic!)
I didn't change my sig, nor did I unclick the "show sig" button.... :/
*very confused person!*
EDIT: yup, randomly decides to show up now! GAH! Ok now, any reason why it would go away or did I simply just not wait for it to load or what?

You do realize that your signature only appears on your first post on a page, correct?
We moderators instated that bit of code to generally decrease bandwidth, determining that there is no need to see someone's signature more than once per page.

Hm, that would've been the last thing I would've thought about, but it totally make sense! Wakata...

Glad that everything is cleared up. Sorry for the confusion.
Meanwhile, I would hope that no one else responded to this thread unless they truly had something to add...

Yeah, I've noticed awhile back that the sig only shows up once per page. I figured it was to try and keep the bandwidth lower. Though I agree, some people have really huge sigs, so only seeing it once per page is a good idea.

For the record, I'll state again that there are signature limits. If you have to scroll to see your entire post and signature, your sig is too long (of course, depending on user settings, you could still be over). I would say that Mr. Smartypant's signature is about the absolute maximum.
Again, I would hope that people would not post here unless they truly have something to say.
