You only really have two options:
1) Pick a different tune to put in the background
2) Ask around to get someone to host the file for you.
You could probably find someone on CAA who'd help. I would, but I don't have a byte of webspace to my name.

or you can find a legal site with direct links for music (like the address ends with .midi or .mp3) Good for you... my xanga is

Ok..I found sites that had the music on it.....but none of them worked....;-; I mean...when I copied the music file from the webpage and put it in the webspace..it didn't work...

They probably have the file locked so you can't link to it.

what is xanga, a personal journal? Anyways, looks okay to me. Easy to navigate and easy on the eyes.

its your browser, or your cookies, or something. If other can hear it then your fine. Unless you want to hear it as well, that i do not know yet.

Do you have dial-up? That could be the problem.

It's a personal journal (blog) like Live Journal, Diaryland, etc...

Sound settings? If it's a MIDI file, you might have your MIDI audio settings too low.
I had this same prob. when I got Xanga going, but I eventually found an audio file that I could hear.
