CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Hey all, anyone else here from NC? representing here from Raleigh.. Duke all the way! Also anyone who knows NC knows we have no good Anime places (at least to my knowledge) and we could use some.. I did hear of a studio somewhere in like Concord.

My family lives in South Carolina. >"< I had to spend a whole Summer there.(to hot there in my opinion) I'm not sure if North Carolina is any different South Carolina.

i was born in NC but i moved when i was 5 to hawaii....

I'm from NZ but I don't think that counts, even though it's only one letter off... still, we don't have any good anime places, either. .

Well lets see. My father, brother and myself were born in NC, my father met my mother in GA and she was from Ohio, they married in Durham NC while he was in the service.
My father's brothers and sisters were born in Durham NC, out 6 children my father and his younger sister are the only ones left, but the 3 that died do have children and grandchildren that live in NC. The oldest died in infancy.
My father's one brother was well known due to the ACC which he help to creat.
I lived with my parents in Sanford and Southen Pines when I was young and then we moved to Wash. DC area
I have a cousin from Ohio who lives in the mountains of NC.
Been to Animazement over the years, first time when it was in Raleigh and since then in Durham which I know a little about since my father is from there.
I sometimes wish I still lived in NC instead of DC.

I live in the Florence area of South Carolina (about an hour from Myrtle Beach). My wife is from North Carolina so we make frequent trips up to the Hickory area. I also travel to Durham each May for Animazement so if anyone plans on being there in 2005 let me know or you can come by the Volunteers Room where I work.

Dont worry, Zarn, I dont actually talk like that. Haha, its just cuz North Carolina come on and raise up is like a rap song or something. haha. Also, I think South Carolina will make the cut i guess . After all we share the same football and hockey team.

OO! Another NC person! *highfives* I was born in OK but I've lived here most of my life.
Yeah, the good ole tar heel state is sadly devoid of anime. I think the blockbuster down the street from me has a grand total of ten videos. (All of which are rarely checked out or even touched.) To make matters worse, I think I have to drive at least an hour in any direction before I get to a Best Buy.We never get any good bands touring here either.
At least we have mountains and a beach within a day's drive. ^_^;;;
