Hi,

I'm doing a comic for part of my Graphic Design course and I've done the inking up of the pages using felt tip pen. I know to scan in the pages but can anyone tell me how to make the inked lines a more bold black? Also I need help (instructions) on how to drop basic colours into the comic to colour it.
Please keep the steps simple as I am dyslexic.

Thankyou for your help!
God Bless!

What graphic program are you using? I can help you if you have Photoshop.

To make the inked lines bolder/darker:
"Image>Adjustments>Brightness/Contrast"

Play around with that function, I usually increase constrast to get darker lines and brightness to help clean up the image

To color the image:
1) Create a layer on top of the original file
"Layer>New Layer"

2) Find the layer window/panel
If you don't see it, "Window>Layers"

3) Change the scroll down option (where you see "Normal" into "multiply")
Use your paintbrush on that layer.

If you still have difficulties, feel free to PM me. ^_^
