CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Has anyone else been to Acquire The Fire before? Ever heard of it?
I'm going this year--next Friday and Saturday--and I can't wait!!

Last year they started calling it The Power of One. I don't know if they are changing the name or not, but either works for me I guess.

anyone been this year yet? you plan on going?

i went to the past 2 years, i think that "the power of one" was just the theme of last year,

i really liked the first year, we got to hear sting's testimony! it was awesome,
the second year wasnt as good i think, they seemed to just want all of us to buy their stuff and go to their camps

i dont think my youthgroup will go again this next time, i kinda do though..

I've lost count of the times I've gone. Haven't seen Sting there though! Gosh, I didn't know he got saved!

I think there are different speakers at every event or something.

Aw man, this year was so awesome!! L.G. Wise and Thousand Foot Krutch were in concert!

One of the people from my church got to go for free because he went to Honor Academy and graduated.
The lead singer of TFK recognized this other guy from our church who has been helping out at ATF, but the guy didn't recognize him at first. I laughed when he told me about it.
I got to stay in a house with a three foot long iguana!! Man, what a great weekend!!!
