Traffic Court

I don't know if anyone here has ever been in a traffic court but the only reason I had to be in one was because I was a witness to a accident and I was the only one to show up involving it. The defendant had the charge of failing to yield, plus no driver license, causing an accident and to add failure to show for court.
The judge said I would be back when everyone was located.
It was interesting to hear and see how the cases were handled. The best thing was if you were ticketed plead GUILTY don't fight it.
I watch one woman try to debate her ticket when she was caught driving on a shoulder of a interstate to get into traffic. The judge called for a trial and the officer was asked forward and the case begin. The woman ended up with a $200.00 fine.
A young girl 17 YO ran a stop sign couldn't figure out how to plead, the judge fined her $200.00 plus traffic school and then she started to cry. The judge told her Don't You Cry.
Some drivers only had to pay $50.00. It just depends on how you can work it out after you plead guilty with the judge.
