For those of you who know Vyse...

... I think that we should all give him a little bit of encouragement. You know, tell him how he's done something good for you or for the rest of us here at CAA! ^__^
We all need encouragement sometime... and I think now it's time for us to give it to him.
I know you're lurking out there, V, and I hope that you will return to us soon! (For those of you who have heard the latest news on him, please do not argue about it here. This is not the place to put on your fighting gloves and duke it out with others. Mods, if this grows to be something more than that, please lock down this thread. Thanks.)
Since I'm the one who brought him up, I'll be the first.
Vyse, within a week of my arrival on CAA, you took me in as a friend and as a sister in Christ - chatting with me on AIM, and hooking me up with other members of CAA through... well, chat rooms! You have helped me through some days through the summer when I was angry at... certain individuals, and other days where I felt depressed. Not only that, but you got me
involved in what God's doing through the online community! Your words have convicted me in ways that I've never thought of before (I never thought of downloading as much of a sin until Vyse quite adamantly said that it was...). And now, he gives me interesting links to look at with... new RPGs that I wish I had. Anyhoo, you've helped me grow, man!
Vyse, you know I'm here for you - and I bet everyone else who's posting below me can agree.

Vyse, you're an awesome guy. While I can't say all the things antefurem's said, I can tell you that I admire your willingness to stand up for what you believe in. I admire how friendly you were to me the first few times we talked over PM and AIM. Everytime you invite me to chat you make me feel like a better part of this wonderful community. You included me, and for that I am grateful. I hope I can help you in some way, so that I can make up for the things you've done for me. ^_^ God bless.

Hmmm...I must've missed something. I was unaware that anything was going on with Vyse...now I feel bad. ^^;
Anyway, Vyse...you're a really cool guy. ^_^ God's often used you to help me when I'm feeling down, and you're also a great peace maker, as well.

He seems like a cool guy.

Vyse stretched out a hand in friendship to me through YIM. That really caught me off guard because it's not everyday that people (besides weirdos
) are willing to be more aquainted with me over the net. Thanks Vyse
And keep ya chin up dude.

Read uc's post on the banned members thread. That has all the details.
I know i dont know Vyse very well, but from what ive seen of what he's said in his posts he has always been very respectful and i admire him for always standing up for what he believed was right even when that meant going up against the mods. When he used my thread to challenge the mods on an issue he made sure i knew that he didnt mean anything against me personally and encouraged me to ask questions about my faith. I think that's what i admire him for most of all. We here for you, Vyse

Vyse, from what I’ve seen, I can only describe you as a good friend and net companion. I do like the passion with which you stand for your beliefs. Don’t let that go. If there is a development need, it lies in your use of discretion.
Hopefully, everyone involved will learn from this and we can all grow a little closer. Come back to us soon, Vyse.

I agree with what Termyt said.
Something good Vyse has done for me:
Vyse was one of the first people to IM me at CAA. In doing so, he helped me feel at home here. I don't mean in a posting sense, but that the way he sought to include people made me feel l could have friends here. He always has this magic way of putting together a chat room that is so much fun. People interacted there. He has a way of bringing out the best in people.
I think that how he responds to things he strongly disagrees with could use some refinement. Sometimes all you can do is say your part with ccompassion and love, pray, and let God do the work. I do admire the strength of his conviction (although I might not discuss politics with him).
I remember one of the first times that he invited me into a CAA chatroom on AIM. I was mentioning something in response to what someone else said and that person asked further about it so I said that I would separately IM that person and Vyse IMed me separately asking if everything was OK. I just told him basically what I was teling the other person. It didn't much matter at the time what the other person thought because at the time it was a relatively complete stranger. Vyse trusted me and when I told him what I was talking about with the other person, he seemed so completely accepting of me. I am deeply grateful to him. I think I needed that right then. It is in moments like that when you can really see the love of Christ show through and get a glimps of who God is. I know God will use Vyse to touch many many lives.
*hugs Vyse* Thank you.

I had minor disagreements with Vyse probably at one point or another,
But He's an upright fellow and I'll rejoice the day he comes back to us
(I'd post more but I gotta go).

Vyse, I've always admired your strengh and faith when you had something to say. you always put your heart into everything, even when standing up for what you believe. Though I didn't know you very well I saw some of the things you did on the boards and you made made me realise there are lots of good people out there, and you're one of em. come back soon Vyse!

Way back a really long time ago he helped me a lot with little things like encouraging me to not just give up on my school projects (I have almost no motivation).
He's helped me with computer stuff too.
He started threads at messsage boards we both posted at where the whole point was to list good things that were going on in people's lives. I really enjoyed that. If I was having a good day, I'd post. If I was having a terrible day, I'd force myself to post. It gave me an opportunity to see good in life.
He was there when I was depressed or lonely a lot of days.
I remember one day in particular. I was at school and I called him from a pay phone. We talked for a long time and he just found Bible verses to read to me.
The AIM chats he started with other people from CAA helped me feel more comfortable posting here. I've met a lot of my current friends through group conversations/chats he invited me into as well.
Thanks for this thread, antefurem...
Edit: I've known Vyse for about a year now. He's been there for me through a lot and I've been there for him as much as I could too. He's my closest friend. I do appreciate all he's done over that time, whatever conflicts come up. I don't think that the friends and people I know just come into my life through chance. And I thank God for all I've learned through my interactions with those people.

Yeah, well.. kind of... It's a randomly made chatroom. You're going to need to get in contact with Vyse and tell him that you would like to be invited to them [the chatrooms]. He's a cool dude, he is.

Well, I never did know Vyse as well as some of the other members here, and I will admit he's said a few things before that I would disagree with, but overall, he doesn't seem like a bad guy.

I think that Vyse is a really cool guy, arguements all aside. He's someone who knows somthing, and has a passion for it. If it gets in the way at times..well...(Looks back at a somewhat heated discussion with Ashley over E-missionarys) we all make mistakes. The point is, we miss you dude, so come back soon.
Vyse, Volt, and Zarn Ishtare. Random names that I picked...randomly.

Vyse I've admired your resolve and faith ever since I joined CAA. Though we've had some minor disagreements on issues I'm glad we could always come to an agreement somewhere. And of course the CAA chats are always fun.
