RPG question for RPGers

I wrote this in another forum but this one is just so that I can get more answers:
okay as fellow RPGers I need to ask you something:
What is (in your opinion as players and'or GMs) an appropriate amount of weapons (available)?

I think that would depend heavily on the number of players, the game's genre, and what they are facing. What kind of firepower do they have? If you want to limit damage, just let them have a side arm, a rifle, and a knife. Or, if it's fantasy, limit them to one weapon and a back up. Otherwise, to be more random, give them anything they can afford to buy.

I am locking this because this is annoying. Do NOT make more then one copy of a thread and spread it around CAA. In the future threads will simply be deleted that violate this. Its a waste of bandwidth...and its just annoying. If people want to join your rpg...they know where the rpg sign up area is...and its not the general board.
