CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Hey every one.
My Church’s Youth Group is starting up in a couple weeks.
The other leaders and I are trying to come up with some fun things we can do for our Kick-Off.

So I thought I would ask the Pro’s!

What would be (or has been) a fun way to kick-off your Youth Group year?

Okay, first of all - ages, how many, and what facilities do you have? Also, I'm assuming you're aiming for something of a social nature rather than a standard service per se?

Gotta do the Hay Ride thing!!!!!!!

I'm not the best with coming up w/ ideas, but once i think of some i'll post them....

My old youth group had a pool party once at someones house. I think their was also a BBQ at somepoint.

All of the games have a messy factor and time rating for each one; plus a good idea of the price (if any) and the duration. Russian Eggroulette (sp?) has been my fav so far....

Okies dokies! >^.^< Try playing "Half deck, Quarter deck, Full deck!" It's a really cool game!

well being that fall and winter are coming up paintball is cool though not everyone is up for pain
Lockins are cool, are church had a 8 foot sunday once... just thought I would throw that out.
some sort of halloween party, we have pumpkin bowling and other crazy stuff

I got plenty more of that so just let me know if you want anymore

we made a gaint slip and slid outside and had other games going on inside, and hot dog and hamburgers to eat, then we settle down and have a devotional.

Let's see, we did the "untangle yourselves" team game in my youth group before. ^_^ That was lotsa fun.

Good question, sorry I forgot that part.

Age: Seinor High
Number: 20-25
Facilities: Well, no gym. But we do have an outdoor yard (decnet size), and some space inside, but not a lot.
Weather: Since I live in the NE, it has begun to get cold in the mornings and evenings. (Youthgroup is in the evening)
