Huh? What's wrong with that?
......
Okay, so it looks a little odd...like your pet's head's in the clouds or something.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA. That has to be in the top 10 coolest things I've ever seen. I am probably going to use that site to spam my friends' e-mail boxes. That's hilarious.

BINGO. Not only is it exceedingly creepy (memorial images of dead pets? Uh, no thank you), it appears as something one can do easily with Photoshop. Not that Photoshop is an easy program (It took me days to figure out how to make a decent "lightsaber effect", but then again, I may be stupid). And the price. $127??? Can we say "Extortion central?"
Not that anyone is forcing you to use such a stupid service.

It'd be hilarious if they actually required you to ship your pet to them so they can take an appropriate picture

ROTFL! Oh... oh... I got a good laugh out of that one. Sadly, there are some people I could see actaully doing that. Heh, if any of you people want that done I'm sure you could find someone on CAA who would do it for free. Not that I can say the concept makes a bit of sense to me... sorry...

That is sad. And I don't say that in a sarcastic way.

When I saw it, I was reminded of the Saturday Night Live sketch featuring Alec Baldwin...
"For only $50, we'll take your picture, and put it inside a brandy snifter. And for that extra touch, we can put a rose on top of the brandy snifter. Now that's classy!"
Of course that is a paraphrase, but you get the idea
.

wow....i don't know what to say... that is so dumb. $127? I could do that myself on the GIMP. And the way they keep saying "skilled digital artist" and "senior art director" make it sound fake to me.

Impossible to do entirely in MS Paint (there are no layers). But in Photoshop it wouldn't take anymore than 2 mins and it looks rubbish too me anyway.

Well, if you had a picture of Jesus in the clouds and a picture of the pet, I think I could pull it off in MS Paint. Layers would really make things simpler, but I don't think it would be completely impossible.
I'm going to have to go with Link Antilles, otherwise.

umm... yeah. Enough said
. They're very expensive $142 for that! haha. I wonder if anyone has even bought one. Creepy indeed.

IKR, that's what I was thinking. Yeah, like you'd need a senior art director to do that.

Give any 8-year-old photoshop, that background, a picture of an animal, and fifteen bucks and they'll figure it out.

These remind of those framed pictures you see at flee markets with sound effects and scenes of waterfalls and animals. It's almost as cheesy as that but not quite. As least you get what you pay for with those, this they're just trying to rip ya off.

I wouldn't want to get one anyway....
Somehow, something about looking at a picture of the disconnected head of your dead pet floating in the clouds and Jesus looking on can tend to be a bit... disturbing....
