I've got some news for people who live in the northwest states.
Theres going to be a Christian Cowboy Camp Meeting in Creston Wa, this weekend(24th, 25th, 26th). It was started 19 years ago by world champion saddle bronc rider, Deb Copenhaver. It'll be my 13th year going.
It's great down there. Anyone who wants to go is invited. My brother, a few of our youth group friends, and I, have started a band and will be performing down there for the kids. They have a bible study and a trail ride down there, but nothing for the kids! So, we talked with Deb, and he agreed! It'll be our first perfomance ever! We have a choice between two names for our band name, Focus or, Peacemakers. It'll be either one of those. We have a techniqe that we call K.I.S.S.(not the scary old guy rock band), or Keep It Stupid Simple. We got: Lead vocals/lead guitar, bass/vocals, accoustic/vocals(dadgum we got lotta singing going on here), backup vocals,
And finally, drums(my instrument). The camps kitchen staff is run by my Mother, and they serve free breakfast and lunch. Singing is provided by the Spokane Country Gospel Jamboree. The camp takes place every September. Everyone come down!
