Hm...I failed the Driver's Test to get my Learners by one point...extremely annoying.

I do not see how...I passed the signs test perfectly. Oh well...I shall take it again tomorrow, and seeing as how I just had my stepfather quiz me over some of the content of the book, I should do fine.

I did well on my written test, but I failed my driving test the first time. A good percentage of people will fail the first time, so don't sweat it too much. :)

I passed both the written and driving portions of the test on my first try.

I'm sure you will do well.

The written part was the easiest for me because I studied so hard it's not even funny! The driving part--well, getting a permit was easy but I had to stay at driver's ed a month longer than I was supposed to because I wasn't very good at it.

I almost failed my driving test because I hit the curb and rolled over it. Um--don't do that! ^_^ Believe God for favor and trust Him to help you and there's no way you can fail again.

No worries mate, I remember when I took the written part of my state exam; half the people in my class failed their first attempt. Our state test is kind of a pain though (Im not sure if its still the same). It was only 5 or 6 questions, so if you get more then One wrong, you failed.

I guess that’s kind of strict, but what kills me is that you don’t have to do anything to renew your license. Old people, who can just barely find their way into the DMV, ride my bumper through town, break before the light even turns yellow, and cant seam to accelerate above 30 mph just walk in and get their new one every few years!!!

There is no way some of those crazies could pass the driving test, or the written portion, but they get their license renewed anyway.

Oh-well, I guess that might be me some day. ^_^

Don't worry! Most people fail the driver's test the first time. Even my genius cousin failed it the first time (he over thought through a question, and put down the logical answer instead of the obvious one. The poor dear, so brilliant and still so impractical!)

If it makes you feel better, I failed my first test by one point and had full points for the second one. Hey, at least, you can drive legally.

In some countries, you just need to bribe. >_<;;;

Thank you all for the encouragement. This test wasn't to actually get my license, but to get my learners' permit. I did pass yesterday on my second try. In GA, you can fail it once and take it the next day. Fail it twice and you have to wait a week before you take it again. I took it the next day, and succeeded.

w00t! Congrats on passing your written test! I passed mine the first try. ^_^ Missed a perfect score by 2...-mutters-

What type of transmission are you going to be learning on? If it's auto, that's so not fair. -_- I'm learning on a stick, AND I'm here at college while my car's at home. So, yeah....not taking the driving test till likely my birthday. Good luck on yours! :)

Congrats on getting your permit, you're one step closer to you, DAH DAH DAH!, License!

I personally live in IL so we don't have to take a driving test to get our permit, all we have to take is the written test.

Oh and by the way, I failed the Driving Part (Behind the Wheel) of Drivers Ed my first time through so I had to retake it last summer (err I guess you could say this summer....) so don't feel bad if you don't do so well.

And me.... lets just say I am uber happy that I finally have my license, not so I can go around to places and drive, just that I actually have it.

LOL.

Things remain unclear, still? Another fault of mine. I lack the gift of storytelling, or explaining. When I said Driver's Test, I meant the written test - the test for aspiring drivers. I took only the written test over the rules and the signs.
