We made it through the hurricane alright!
I'm so happy now! *does the miracle dance*
Thank you all so much for your prayers. Our house didn't flood, which is a miracle since we live right by two lakes and a river! The only damage we have is the nail holes from the plywood and a leak in the ceiling. We had to puncture a hole in it since the roof was bowing and it was all soggy...
We even have power! (duh, sorry) We haven't had it for days and all I could think about was the internet...and my life...and my stuff...and how I was going to survive...yup. ^^
My dad and my sister were outside and heard people cheering and lights were going on. Now we can flush the toilets!

Hehe... Anyways, we're alive and we have water and food and a place to live!!!

So how did everyone else fare? *hopes they're alright*

Yup...that's what we were saying about class 2 too...until we saw the news reporters falling down in 40mph winds...a friend of ours went out in the winds to get his fence, and was sick for a while afterwards because of the conditions.
And we're sitting here saying "Oh, it's only 100mph!"
Well, it's over now. And God protected us!
Just like He'll protect us from Ivan too. *nodnods*

I'm hoping us here on the gulf get a trickle or two of the leftover tropical depression. We needs us some cooler weather.

Where in FL were you madeline? I was in Palm Beach Gardens and sat through the eye. We had to leave my dog at home and go to my dad's work But we were safe and we got to see a very exciting storm. Thankfully the only damage was to our roof, but it's not that bad *hopes the flat roof doesn't collapse on her head* and the yards a wreck. We didn't lose power very long, because our milk was still good when we came home yesterday. Just got our phone line back this morning.

Here in Ohio we aren't effected beyond alot of rain...

I'm glad ur alright! We pray in school every day for the people in Florida about the hurricane stuff. Well we did... we probably will again when Ivan hits.
