Mmm, about 6 or 7years ago was the last time I was stung by a bee and the only time I can remember. I went to pick up something and when I got up my arm hurt and there was a bunch of bees there. I quickly scooted away, but it was too late; the bee had goten me, and its stinger didn't even come off, I don't think. So, teary-eyed, I went inside and treated my horrific wound. And that was the last time I ever got stung by a bee.

I have never been stung by a bee or a wasp in my entire life, which is probably a good thing. My Dad is allergic to yellow jackets, and I have no interest in finding out if I'm allergic to them or any other kind of bee, wasp, or hornet as well...

One time at my friends house, I was swinging on a rope, and accidentally kicked a wooden board or something. A few seconds later, I felt a sting on my temple and below my shoulder. I then learned that there is a wasp's nest there. [sarcasm] A wonderful help to me after I've been stung! [/sarcasm] I get nervous around bees/wasps.

Another time, I was at camp. I had my arm raised, and when I put it down, a wasp stung my elbow. This time, it was a very light sting. Like it just barely poked me with its stinger, or something.

Chew up some aspirin and stick it on it if it's hurting you. Or, if you're brave, an onion. Helps with the swelling and the pain.

Don't ask. Trust me. You'll sleep better.

*runs far away from wasps. . . *

I've been stung by a bee. On my right hand, the pointer fingers knuckle. I was in 4th or 5th grade. Waiting outside the school for them to let us in for school. some kids were driving a nest of bees crazy and "ouch" I got stung.

Can we try amputation?  :P

I did not tell before but it stung me on the back of where the hand and wrist connect. Good thing there was no stinger.

What I did to stop it from hurting and stop the swelling was putting some alcohol on the spot, let it sit, then wipe it off slowly and softly, mix some baking soda with water until it looks like paste (like soggy paper) and put a big glob on the spot and around it. Let it sit until it dries and it will flake off.

I did that and it healed in five to ten minutes. :jump:

It really does work. :thumb:

A couple years ago, I also got stung on my toe where it connects to the foot. I almost stepped on a bumblebee between my foot and sandel. No stinger was there either, but boy did it hurt.

I've been stung by bees three times.

When I was 12, I was stung by a jellyfish.

I'll take bees any day.

When I was younger there were soo many times that I had been stung on the bottom of my foot by a honey bee.

Those hurt but no where near as bad as a wasp >.< A wasp's sting hurts very bad and just throbs with pain.

I know I was stung by sweat bees, if nothing else, when I was little.

Last year I got a bee sting on the side of my toe where it constantly rubbed against the toe next to it so it was constantly irritating me. And I had to pull out the stinger with my fingers so there was plenty of poison in there to make it seriously hurt for a goodlongwhile.

I think there is a yellowjacket nest in our back yard because whenever my family eats on the back porch a yellowjacket is constantly buzzing around the food! It makes me very nervous, especially when it lands on my arm and I have to quickly swat it off! my little brother's strategy is to be still but I cant help whacking the darn thing! 0_0

Be still is my motto, but I don't live by it. If I bee landed on me, I would be likely to make all kinds of rapid movements (that would look pretty hysterical) to try to shake it off me. Then I would run far away, just in case it's mad at me, and then hesitantly come back. If it's just buzzing near me, I usually just get stiff and 1: close my eyes if it's very close or 2: not take my eyes off it for a second if it's just buzzing around for a while.

Hornets are annoying too. I have to walk past this one area on campus that is just full of them. I am so afraid I am going to bonk one and get it mad at me. Stung is not something I want. . .

Honestly though Jellyfish sounds worse. Think of swimming being ruined. . . bad thought..
