Well...I was born on a Friday, so I was 3 days old my first time.
See, my dad is a Methodist preacher, so whether my mom and I were well enough, we were kinda obligated to go. Not that I had a say in it....
So, I don't really have a cool story either.

I didn't as a kid when my mum was dating my step-dad they made me go to sunday school but it wasn't a church that had anything to do with the gospel. I went a few time with my step-mum's family and it was okay but when I actually became a christian I didn't really have a way to get to church as the only one in my area that I knew was strong spiritually was a half-hour drive away. I got to start going regularly summers 'cause i stayed at my dad's downstate and then when last school year started I got my liscense so i can drive myself and i go regularly now.

How did I first come to church? In a baby carriage. I've been attending church since I was brought home from the hospital.

i am the only Christian in my household. when i first accepted Christ, i was too afraid to tell my parents, or ask them if i could go to church. (this was in the fourth grade...) anyways, when i was a junior, a friend of mine invited me to go to youth group with her. after convincing myself that my mom would be ok with it, she flipped out about it... she wasnt happy, and said some things that made me cry. but anyways, ultimatly she decided it was my decision, so i went that once. at the beginning of my senior year, i asked mom if i could go to youth a few more times. there was more fighting, but she reluctantly agreed... then i asked her if i could start going regularly. at this point, we had a good conversation about why she didnt want me to go, and she apologized for not raising me in the church. i explained to her why i did want to go, and she agreed that it was my choice and finally let me go without a fight.

LIke 90% of the people here, I grew up in a Christian house. My parents had me dedicated, so I've been going from just about day 1 (ok, maybe more like day 5--I was born on a Tuesday I think)

I grew up in the church. Mom and Dad would even get me to sunday school. Church is almost like a mandatory thing for me now; I would feel unusual if I decided to skip church for one Sunday.
But as a child I hated just sitting in service being "bored" and what not, maybe up until I turned 15 or 16 years old. I then began to take church seriously. I paid more attention to the sermon and I learned to participate in the service by singing the songs. I now look forward to hearing a message from God. But I still don't like to be in church for a long time...
