CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Been hearing alota talk about people joining like the "Knights of CAA" and stuff..Just wondered what it took to join these guilds and what other guilds where there?

We have a Guild of Redeemed Gamers, but you'd have to look really hard to find it. ^_~ (Is that what you had in mind?)

Many of these clubs or guilds spawned from very popular threads--like "the bishie thread" and such. Others are groups of people just showing they support something--i.e. the sakura and clamp fan club, the elf clan, etc. Yet others have (or in this case had? I'm not sure how they're still functioning anymore) a specific purpose here at CAA. The Knights, for example, were supposed to be a group that would offer a big brother/big sister program for new people--help them with sigs, avatars, show them around the boards, etc. The key to all of these groups though, is that they must be extremely open. We are NOT going to have cliques running around here. The most exclusive one to date is currently being put on hold while the staff and I discuss things concerning that very matter. You should be able to join any group you want by PMing the person who started it.

Anyway, like Ashley said, part of whats so great about these clubs and 'guilds' you're seeing is they're 100% open. ^_^ For the knights all you need is a willingness to help the members of CAA.

Oh...Back OT. I think the only guilds I really remember were the Knights of CAA, and the Pirates too. I dunno if the pirates are around anymore, though.

I'm sorta a member of the GRG...I havn't acctualy talked to the creator asking if I could join but i'm on the forums!

That and the other stipulation was that you have over 200 posts to be a knight of the CAA. . . that's what uc told me anyway. The reason being you need adequate time to gain knowledge of the site.

I waited till I hit 250 to count myself among the knights, but forgot to put it in my sig until now. . .

Who are the elves? What do they do? I want to be an elf.
