Oh geez, No One is pretty much the coolest character ever. Props to you if you can nail it right.

Don't forget the thing. You know. The one thing that No One has. You had better do that one right. If you can't, get it commissioned. Seriously.

The chances that I may be able to attend have increased slightly. And if I go and do cosplay, it'll probably be Yabuki Joe. Then I can find Smarty and we can duel guitars (though I can't even play a semblance of a tune).

I'll try to do Yabuki Joe as well...

I'm also forced to go as a death note >_> (As in the actual notebook)

I also want to go as Doctor McNinja...

Maybe I'll go. My hair will be pretty long in July, too long for father vincent and he's all I really wanted to Cosplay as... I may just powder my hair and let my facial hair grow until then, and be some old chinese guy (long thin facial hair)... I'll get something that looks vaguely traditional Chinese, and people will come up with their OWN idea of who I am. I'm sure I'll have people saying "That's a decent *insert anime / game character* costume"

I have a friend that wants me to go to Comicon, though.

That's the best part about cosplaying as a character from 20th Century Boys. Fans of the series will recognize you right off the bat, but to everyone else, you could be wearing whatever you might wear any other day of the week. No stares at the public cafe, oglers at the con entrance, annoying questions; you're just a bystander till you meet another fan.

And that's when the awesome kicks in.

And wouldn't it be so great to go as Timcanpi, too? ^.~

EDIT: And I already told Ryan this, but a great story for all you prospective Dr. McNinja cosplayers: A close friend of mine went to Anime LA as Dr. McNinja, mask, lab coat, stethescope, everything. We stopped in a Walgreen's to pick up some stuff. Walked down an aisle, turned around, and saw a cop come in behind us with her gun ready.

Now, before I go on, keep in mind that I'm in full cosplay too, as Rabi from D.Gray-man.

At any rate, she points the gun. Thought we were going to try and rob the place for whatever reason. Another cop comes in after gun-cop, laughing. XD; I probably should have been scared or something...but boy was that a story to tell.

As we left the Walgreen's he kept going: "They pointed a gun at a doctor. A DOCTOR!"

I am NOT going as a golden fatter version of the Tin-man with wings. XD
Kokoro Daisuke wrote:As we left the Walgreen's he kept going: "They pointed a gun at a doctor. A DOCTOR!"
A NINJA DOCTOR. Oh man. It would be SO funny if that happened to me. I doubt it though... but man... if it did... XD

Anyway my Doctor McNinja cosplay is missing two important things: A mask and a stethoscope. (I can make icy shamrocks out of cardboard and markers, thanks Corrie for that idea XD)

I may also need a black tie and black slacks, but that's no biggie. So Yes.... Doctor McNinja here I come!

Actually, it just occured to be how cool (and unfeasible) it would be for someone to rig up an animatronic Timcanpi you could wear on your shoulder. I'm thinking of the birds in the Disneyland Tiki Room. Or your head, if that's more canon.

Cool and unfeasible, eh? My dream is to go as (SPOILER!)

Philosopher's Stone Alphonse.

Costume built to scale. (I guess I'd cut a hole in the chest to see out of.)

That gave me that most horrible idea for an AMV.

The Tikki Mikk room! xD

I told you it was horrible.

D: That song torments me so in regards to my fandom. But that would be a hilarious AMV, if only because...it's ridiculous and horrible. XD

And this is coming from the girl who thinks the Earl should sing "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Mulan.

XDD If it's a room with Tiki Mikk in it, I'll go!

I remember going to either Disneyland or Disneyworld to see that room. I was amazed.

Sadly, I even imagine the butterflies and the golems talking for some of the birds at the beginning. xD

O.o YES! This must be done! *loves Mulan*

I suddenly have the urge to go to Disneyland while cosplaying. Unfortunately, Disney would never allow this. :(

Anime Expo 2007... considering that I missed my opportunity to go last year, I feel I have no choice but to attend. Plus, since it's in Long Beach, it's also accessible by train to me. Good news for me!!

Plus, I was thinking about actually cosplaying as something...

a random soldier of the WRO...

Afro Samurai... (I just need a gi... easy, right?)

and, hopefully, I could get that Nabeshin costume together... (darned light red sportcoat and yellow tie...)

Maybe a jounin from Naruto... there's no end to the possibilities!

In other words, whether I have a hotel room this year or not... whether I cosplay or not... I will be going to this convention.

...and if any of you don't like it, you can kiss my big, fat, bla--
