Lets see here.
The Police Helicopter. Our police helicopter has a distinct rotor sound that I can pick up and tell if it was the police or if it was a random helicopter. The reason I was so afraid of it was because of that distinct noise. It would always wake me up from my dreams and/or change my dreams into nightmares. >.< So it wasn't really a fear, more like annoying.
The dark. Still am afraid of it. When I think about it, I'm more afraid of the sudden dark because you can't see anything. However, once I have my eye adjusted to the dark, I love it. ^-^
Spiders. I have a reason to be though. When I was 3 before I could remember, I was bitten by a brown recluse spider. Yep, I got blood poisoning. If it wasn't for my mom who saw the thing right before it disappeared, she probably wouldn't have rushed EXTREMELY fast to the emergency room at night and I wouldn't be alive today. O.O I must say, I have an interest in spiders because I watched the discovery channel and (along with my mom) I found out that there are a lot of spiders that eat some of the nastier critters that can do damage to your property (aka termites, other small insects that tear up the lawn, etc.). So I usually get interested in a spider and try to find out what it is before I get the impluse to kill it.
Water battles. Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time, God or War, Shadow of the Colossus, etc. The monsters that you face are either good at swimming, are a part of the water, or a combination of the two. I was always afraid of water battles because, I mean looking at it realistically, a lot of weaponry and magic don't do much good against a water. And then I realized that electricity will always kill and immobilize water-anything. XD
Monsters under my bed? Kinda. Except when I got my own bed, it was a small twin bed. I remember looking under my bed at night really quick (look left, look right) and if a monster were to attack me, they would also have to be invisible and a part of the surface (which is illogical, so that sorta dispersed my fear instantly). However, I had an experience of falling off my bed. Amazingly, I caught myself and tried to push myself back up, by finally gave up and steeled myself into thinking "I'm going to hit the ground, it's going to hurt". I did, and it hurt but I made sure not to toss around on my bed that much anymore.
Undeads in Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time. I hated those cause of the screams they make. Then I learned the Sun Song and got the Big Goron Sword and got my revenge. *evin grin*
Devil May Cry games. Self-explainitory. XDD
Resident Evil corridor. When the Playstation was the best graphic console around at the time, my friends rented Resident Evil and decided to use the sound system and make the volume fairly high. There is one scene in there where there is no music and you hear your footsteps. Turn a corner, and there is the exit. Right as you pass the windows, they blow in and 3 dogs come chasing after you. I couldn't sleep for a week after that. O.O;;;
One of my dreams. I had a dream once where I was looking out of my window when I see a streaking missle over the sky. It blows up about 100 miles away, but it was the first "Black Hole" bomb. It made an extremely weird and terrifying noise (kinda like "not-of-this-world" noise) and started sucking everthing up. I think I have some of the weirdest dreams really. Even if I realized that a dream was a dream, they would instantly turn into nightmares for some reason as if to say "you weren't supposed to figure that out". I finally had a dream where I recognized it as a dream, but I was able to control the wind. Something came after me (machine, monster, dogs, anything, you name it.), and I raised my hand and pulled down an F5 tornado. And demolished everything in sight. ^-^ My dreams have behaved since then. XDD
I still have a fear of things, but usually it's because I don't understand how it works. So as soon as I learn about something that I'm new to or I don't understand, I immediately research and learn about it in order to understand it. I especially love disproving unexplained phenominon. ^-^
