I'm an Evangelical Lutheran, but I try not to bind myself to a denomination too strongly, and regard myself as a Christian first.

Here is wisdom indeed, and similar to my own perspective although mine is more complex.

Im a practicing Roman Rite Catholic Christian!!! I go to a Baptist College!! I'm Bathlic!!!!lol no really, I'm very Catholic, Pentacostal Catholic, Traditional Catholic, Latin American Catholic, African Gospelmusic Catholic, .......oh what's the point? that's why we're called "Catholic" because it comes from the Greek "catolicos" meaning "universal".......Jesus came for everybody, for every "worship" style, for every sinner, Jesus died on the cross, Jew or Gentile, Slave or Free, from the North to the South andthe East to the West.......Every knee shall bow and tongue confess that Jesus is Lord,

Catholic for now. But now that JP2's gone, I dunno...

I went to World Youth day in Koln (Cologne), Deutchland (Germany).............Pope Benedict 16 was awesome.......but you know what? You shouldn't base your faith in the Catholic church on JP2, but on Jesus, because without Jesus, JP2 wouldn't be so stinkin' awesome like he is, without Jesus JP2 wouldn't have had a reason to say any of the things he said or did.....be thankful for Apostolic Succession, through it, the Holy Spirit is guiding us and bringing Christ to us each and every generation of Christians

I'm a Lutheran but the more important thing is having a personal relationship with Jesus and accepting Him as your Saviour.

You know...this thread is starting to get a little too pushy on all sides. So before some other dear staffer locks this, I will. Feel free to hate me and send me hate mail PM's about it. Warrior 4 Jesus, what a great post to end on.
