Dang...I shouldn't have read this thread when I was tired the first time, I'd have been glad to bring it up again. There is an invalid (genealogy terminology - "not validated by official documentation"
not "wrong") genealogy in existence that goes back to Adam and Eve. Obviously, it is often discredited, primarily on the grounds that there's no official documentation. (Like Mitsuki mentioned, most genealogies dive into "mythology" once they reach a certain point; those of us with Norman-Viking heritage veer into Norse mythology while many others of us with other European heritage veer into various Middle Eastern mythologies, including Christian mythology. And before I'm misunderstood or flamed, I should clarify that I use "mythology" in the anthropological sense, not the fairy-tale sense. It's just a habit I developed in college.)
If anyone is curious, I can dig through my files and find the copy I have of the Adam-Eve descendancy chart. I came across it while I was researching my family history because of a common descendant/ancestor, and I kept it on file for future reference. Just send me a PM, so that this thread doesn't go too off-topic.
It might take a while for me to find, because my listing of files for my family genealogy is quite massive, and saved on several disks.
