I know that you've mentioned this at least twice before, but how often does this happen?
Sangoku wrote:A gun as a melee weapon? you mean like bayonets or like the marching band color guards rifle techniques? (joke on the latter one). Sure, bayonets are basically spears (in techniques), but modern combat doctrine doesn't emphasize bayonets anymore (which is unfortunate).
Now if you're saying simplying using guns as is, like a rifle as a bat, or a pistol as a brass knuckle, that works too. However, the gun isn't meant to do that, and it would put you at a severe disadvantage (being unbalanced, some made of composite materials not meant to stand a sword or mace blow, etc)..

I like twin-edge flexibe straight (Not broad). Katana's are great, but they're to heavy for my taste and you only get one edge.

But this is the case with reality and games, so I don't know which side to quote, actually...
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

I haven't seen many two sword styles. I know the blades are usually short and light though. I've only taken Tae Kwon Do, but I learn fast and like weapons. I own a 40' inch Bokken and have a good feel for it, but it's still farely heavy to me.
Isn't it: The larger the weapon, the better the defence?
